Fairmont was ranked 3rd on listing of the top 50 providers of customer service excellence, the top score for the luxury hotel industry. The listing was created using data from J.D. Power & Associates’ 2007 database and a supplementary survey of BusinessWeek readers.

Readers ranked Fairmont properties high in several categories, most notably honouring The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise as the top resort in Canada, and the Willow Stream Spa at The Fairmont Banff Springs as the number one choice in International Spas. Fairmont-managed Mount Kenya Safari Club was chosen as one of the Top 5 hotels in Africa, and The Fairmont Banff Springs and The Fairmont Chateau Whistler were listed among the Top 20 golf courses worldwide.

Fairmont placed 29th on a list of the world’s top 100 businesses that are taking groundbreaking steps to reduce their carbon footprint. Fairmont was the only hotel group included on the list.
Golf Magazine – Premier Resorts 2008
Readers rated the top 75 golf resorts in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, recognizing The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, The Fairmont Chateau Whistler and The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess and The Fairmont Banff Springs were also ranked among the best.
