Catie Copley, Canine Ambassador
The Fairmont Copley Plaza is pleased to offer its guests canine companionship with Catie Copley, Canine Ambassador. Catie, a friendly black Labrador retriever, meets and greets guests, is available for scheduled walks and runs, is community liaison and generally puts a smile on everyone's face. Previously trained as a guide dog by the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, Catie switched careers when her eyesight came into question: she has small cataracts that are unlikely to affect her life in any way, but which make her unacceptable as a guide dog or for the organization's breeding program. The Concierge team maintains an appointment book where guests can schedule walks and runs with her, and you can e-mail her at catie.copley@fairmont.com.
