Skiing There are three skiing areas within a 45-minute drive of The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

Stanley Park One of North America's largest urban parks covering 1,000 acres, Stanley Park is perfect for the nature lover or fitness enthusiasts. Facilities include the Vancouver Aquarium, a pitch & putt course and outdoor tennis courts. There are also cycling and rollerblading paths as well as 22 miles (33km) of hiking and walking trails.
Cycling Vancouver is a cyclist's dream! There are trails in 16 regional parks, including the popular 6.2 miles (10 km) Seawall route along Stanley Park's shore and the 10.5 miles (17 km) route along the Spanish Banks. There are more than a dozen rental shops in the downtown area that rent all types of bicycles. Rollerblades are also available.
- Cyclists should remain on designated trails to minimize damage to the environment.
- Riding on sidewalks is illegal and violators will be cited.
- Cyclists must wear a helmet.
Golf Courses Golf enthusiasts will love Vancouver's rolling green spaces, mountain views and fresh sea air. There are many excellent courses within a 20 to 60 minute drive from the hotel. The hotel concierge can assist with tee off times.
