Three Point Chalet
Three Point Chalet is a popular choice for guests seeking shelter under the white pines. Located on a rocky point stretching out into a remote rainbow lake, it is the only one bedroom chalet with a fireplace. Able to accommodate two to four people, the chalet is located 14 miles (23 km) from the gates of Fairmont Kenauk at Le Château Montebello. The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, refrigerator, stove, furnace, hot shower, indoor flush toilet, fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious screened porch.

Train Service
The nearest train station is in Ottawa, about 80 km west of the hotel. Guests can then get either rent a car, or take a bus or taxi (approx. $150) to Montebello/Kenauk from Ottawa.


Ferry Information
There are two ferry services, located about 10 minutes from nearby Fairmont Kenauk at Le Château Montebello.

Between Lefaivre (Ontario) and Fassett (Québec), Cumberland (Ontario) and Masson (Québec). The rate is approximately $8.

Driving Directions from Ottawa International Airport:

  • Take Airport Parkway to Riverside Drive East
  • Exit Riverside Drive onto Hwy 417 East
  • From Hwy 417 East, take Hwy 17 East towards Rockland / Hawkesbury 5 miles (8 km) after Orleans, there is a streetlight on Hwy 17 in Cumberland.
  • Turn left onto the Ferry, which leaves every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day (cost: $8 per car)
  • Go straight off the Ferry to Masson-Angers, then turn right on Main St. / Hwy 148 East (towards Lachute)
  • Go through the villages of Thurso, Plaisance, Papineauville, and Montebello
  • As you leave Montebello, turn left on Cote Ezilda and follow the signs to Fairmont Kenauk at le Chateau Montebello's entrance gate 5 miles (8 km)

Driving Direction from Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau Airport:

  • At the terminal exit, follow indications for Ottawa/Hull
  • Get on Hwy 50 Ouest (West) to bypass the city of Lachute
  • As you get off Hwy 50, turn left on Route 148 Ouest (West)
  • Drive through Calumet, Pointe-aux-Chenes, and Fasset before arriving in Montebello
  • As you arrive in Montebello, turn right on the first road (Cote Ezilda, marked with the sign for Fairmont Kenauk at Le Château Montebello)
  • Follow the signs to the hotel entrance gate 5 miles (8 km)
