For the world, Montreux remains above all the city of the famous Jazz Festival. Each summer in July, enjoy the great kings of swing, blues, soul, hip hop and rock by the lake. Miles Davis, BB King, Eric Clapton, Herbie Hancock, George Benson, James Brown and Al Jarreau have succeeded on a scene which became legendary.

In September, Montreux-Vevey region is rythmed during two week by the Septembre Musical, a classical music festival.
