Golf
There are several world-class Barbados golf courses located throughout the island. The Royal Westmoreland Golf Course is the closest to the resort, and offers a superb, 18-hole, 6,870-yard, par 72, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. championship St. James golf experience. Appropriate golf attire is required (knee-length shorts). Carts are mandatory. Singles play is unavailable. Club and shoe rentals are available. Please reserve a tee time through the concierge upon your arrival.
Tennis
Two lit tennis courts are available to guests for complimentary play, day or night at The Fairmont Royal Pavilion. Tennis lessons can be arranged through the Concierge with tennis pro Sydney Lopez at $60 USD per hour for private instructions or $120 USD per hour for couples. Lessons are for all levels, from beginners to advanced.
Water Sports
Ocean swimming is at your doorstep in the beautiful turquoise waters of the Caribbean's west coast. The hotel is located on a 0.7 mile stretch of sandy beach.
Alternatively, you can enjoy using our outdoor freshwater swimming pool as well as a heated jacuzzi (seats 8).
Complimentary water sports include snorkeling, catamaran sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaks and sunfish sailing. Also available at a charge are scuba diving and deep-sea fishing.
