Partnering with Jin Jiang International Group, Fairmont will renovate and reopen The Peace Hotel, a Shanghai landmark for over a century. The hotel has hosted distinguished guests from all over the world, including politicians, artists and celebrities such as General Marshall, Charlie Chaplin, Bernard Shaw and Noel Coward, who wrote Private Lives while in residence. Situated on the Bund, the 12-story Peace Hotel enjoys a premier downtown location, facing the Pudong area over the Hangpu River.

Fairmont Macao is part of a 1,500-room project on the Cotai Strip that will also include a Raffles Hotel and a Raffles-branded residential product.  The project will also include meeting facilities, a spa and other recreational facilities and numerous restaurants. The complex will also feature entertainment, casino gaming facilities and an adjacent retail area, which will be owned and operated by Las Vegas Sands Corp.

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has been appointed to manage a hotel in Hyderabad, in the capital city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
