Very nice hotel

The hotel cannot be faulted on location, comfort & services. Beach, water and pool, are very safe, and a nice environment to spend a holiday. However arriving at the hotel early (9am) after flying overnight from London, and waiting until 3pm, is not helpful especially with a youngster. Also the all-inclusive package should be re-labelled as 'mostly inclusive', as children love ice-cream, and this wasn't included, which made for an expensive overhead.

Good Stay

Returning to Fairmont Ajman is always a pleasure, and once again, our stay was delight The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel truly valued throughout our visit. The hotel's family-friendly atmosphere added to the enjoyment of our stay, with plenty of activities and amenities catering to guests of all ages. The overall experience reaffirmed why Fairmont Ajman remains one of our favorite destinations for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Lovely relaxing family holiday

We stayed at the Fairmont Ajman for 7 nights in early April. As a family of 5, we often struggle to accommodate us all but our 2 deluxe rooms were very comfortable and they set up an extra bed for our 5 year old. The view from the rooms is stunning and we loved having our own balcony. We spent most of our days by the beach and pool and loved the sea and pool equally. Our children spent most of their time on the inflatable obstacle course which tired them out sufficiently! A special mention must be made to the all the life guards (both at the pool and at beach) who were wonderful with our children and entertained them daily. Our 5 year old went to kids club a few times and he enjoyed that too. We walked around the local area most evenings and loved seeing a world outside a big hotel. Our only disappointment was the food. We stayed on a half board basis and the supper buffet was identical every evening. I thought they had themed nights but this didn’t appear to be the case. We’ve stayed in a lot of similar hotels before and although reasonably tasty the variety of food was poor, especially for the children and we were bored of it by night 2. We went to the Italian restaurant one evening which was ok but we were charged for soft drinks (despite them being included at the buffet) and the half board allowance doesn’t stretch very far so we ended up paying an additional £50 for one pizza each which we felt was very poor value. Therefore, for the last few days we ate our food allowance at lunch by the beach and would go out for supper locally which we loved doing. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing week and would definitely return both to the hotel and to any other Fairmont hotel. Thank you!

Good start but…….!

We thought the hotel looked very nice, our room was lovely. The facilities pool, beach, gym and sauna were very good. However the dining area, dining staff and food were quite poor, food choice was limited and very similar every day. We had to constantly ask for drinks and ice cream for our child. Eventually we offered to buy some extra food only to be told there were different options for children. It just seemed that the dining staff were told to not interact with the guests. This was our fifth visit to the UAE and we would not recommend this place to visit.

Not a Fairmont that we can expect

Room ready only at 3:45 pm (arrived at 1 pm) Only 1 person at the reception so everytime we have to wait long time. Room is nice but I have been in other fairmont which were much more better, no available sun bed, no available beach towels the first day… on the positive side I would say the beach is nice and the heated pool is a plus.

Amazing staff but hotel itself very old and outdated and food prices were extortionate for the quality of food.

A fantastic unforgettable stay

Our brief stay at the Fairmont Ajman was absolutely wonderful. Welcomed warmly and personally by Julia and the team I noticed the willingness to help and assist us throughout our stay by all staff members from the bell desk to the iftar staff and the pool attendants. My only suggestion would be a little more lighting over the buffet area outdoors for iftar as it was difficult to see the food in the chaffing dishes. Also the name tags has flown away on some of them due to the wind hence was difficult to make out what the dish really was. Breakfast was busy however well executed and plentiful. We will definitely be back for a longer stay soon.
