Atlantic Salmon Interpretation Centre
Situated on the Chamcook Stream, just four miles away from the hotel via Route 127 east, the Atlantic Salmon Federation's interpretation centre acquaints visitors with all aspects of the wild Atlantic salmon's history, biology, and challenging environment. Visitors will also enjoy the Salmon Hall of Fame, nature trails, and in-stream aquarium, where live salmon can be observed in their natural surroundings. Bay of Fundy
The Bay of Fundy is home to the highest tides on earth and is one of the marine wonders of the world. Tides fluctuate up to 48 feet, allowing visitors to explore the ocean floor at low tides.
Campobello Island/International Park
Campobello Island, part of New Brunswick, was the site of the summer home of President Roosevelt. Located 43 miles away, take Highway 127 to Calais, ME., then Route 1 (USA) to Lubec, ME. Take the bridge to Campobello Island back into Canada. Boat rides directly from St. Andrew's Harbor are available seasonally.
Huntsman Marine Science Centre Aquarium/Museum
The HMSC Aquarium/Museum located 2 miles northwest of the hotel features exhibits about local marine and freshwater environment. Highlights include a large touch pool, a family of harbor seals, aquariums with freshwater and marine fish, and terrarium with amphibians and reptiles. Katy's Cove
Just a five minute walk from the hotel is a sandy, warm saltwater beach. This area is complete with beach attendant, canteen, beach volleyball, beach house and children's play structure. Great for picnics and outdoor events.
Kingsbrae Gardens
This majestic 27 acre horticultural masterpeince nestled within the heart of St. Andrews is open daily for all to enjoy from mid-May until October. With over 40,000 trees, shrubs and perennials, a stunning view of Ministers Island and overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay, the constantly changing garden extends a natural invitation to return again and again. Minister's Island
During the summer visitors can enjoy guided tours of this protected Provincial Historic Site. Just five to ten minutes from St.Andrews by-the-Sea, the island is a short drive over the ocean's floor at low tide. Once on the island you will find the summer residence of Sir William Van Horne, Canada's visionary railway builder. The huge mansion has 50 rooms including 17 bathrooms, amazing dining room, large billiards room, bath house, barns and windmills. The tour is approximately two hours and the small entrance fee is put towards the operation and further improvements of the island. Ross Museum
'One of St. Andrews' Gems'
That's how one visitor described the Ross Memorial Museum. Others have called it 'a wonderful surprise' and 'a treasure.' Whether you come for 15 minutes or an hour, we think you'll agree the 'Ross' is just the right size to fit into your day of sight-seeing in this picturesque seaside town.
The museum is housed in a red brick Georgian mansion built in 1824, one of this town's many historic and architecturally significant buildings. Known locally as Chestnut Hall, the house is set inside a fenced garden featuring beds of heather, roses, and of course, a chestnut tree.

Saint Croix Island
Saint Croix Island is an international historic site and viewing parks are located on both sides of the river. The first Europeans to settle in the area were a company of French explorers led by Sieur de Monts (Pierre de Gua) and Samuel Champlain in 1604.

Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre
Sunbury Shores Arts & Nature Center was founded in 1964 as a non-profit educational and cultural organization, with the goal of providing its students the opportunity to explore the connections between art and nature.
The Centre offers courses that make use of the area's rich natural environment as sources of artistic inspiration and scientific exploration. Winter, Summer, and Fall programs are offered in order to encourage environmental awareness and visual literacy.
Sunbury Shores is located in the historical seaside resort town of St. Andrews, on Passamaquoddy Bay, in the southwestern corner of New Brunswick.
The Chocolate Museum
Devoted to the wonder of chocolate and its place in the heritage of New Brunswick, this museum recounts the story of brothers James and Gilbert Ganong, whose candy-making company, built in the late 1800s continues today. The Museum offers hands-on exhibits, interactive computer displays, collections of historic chocolate boxes and antique candy-making equipment.
The museum also features The Heritage Chocolate Walk offered from mid-June to mid-October. This walk includes a tour of the Museum and a stroll past homes and buildings which relate to the history of St. Stephen, Canada's Chocolate town! Reservations and comfortable walking shoes are advised.
