Climate
Temperatures range from pleasant to hot in summer (July and August), with the mercury hovering at 24°C-32°C during the day. The evenings in the mountains outside Baku are cooler. Winters are chilly, although the temperature rarely falls below freezing. Rainfall is highest in the winter months (November to February) and summer.
Clothing
Western dress is all the fashion in Baku and the culture, although Muslim, is reasonably liberal, so few women wear a head scarf. Respect local traditions, customs, laws and religions at all times and be aware of your actions to ensure that they do not offend other cultures or religious beliefs, especially during the Holy month of Ramadan or if you intend to visit religious areas.

Credit Cards
All major credit cards are accepted at the hotel, in large supermarkets and shopping malls of the capital. Using credit cards or travelers cheques outside of the province is practically impossible. All payments are to be made in Azerbaijan New Manat. Foreign currency can be changed in banks or exchange office located in the hotel.
