Babysitting

The Fairmont Copley Plaza uses the services of Parents in a Pinch, a well renowned babysitting company in Boston. Parents in a Pinch will provide your family with childcare support during the day, for those special evenings away, weekends and holidays. Babysitting services are offered for a minimum of four hours.  Please contact the Hotel Concierge for assistance or 617-739-KIDS.

  • Parents pay $15 per hour to the caregiver
  • Parents also pay a daily placement fee (agency fee)


Bell Staff / Door Staff

Bellmen are located at the Dartmouth Street and St. James Avenue entrances to the hotel. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.


Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon.


Concierge

The Concierge is available from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. in the Main Lobby of the hotel. They can help you arrange dinner reservations and give you directions to major attractions. Elevators

Guests have easy access to elevators in the Main Lobby. 


Housekeeping

The Housekeeping staff is pleased to offer twice-daily maid service including turn-down service upon request to ensure the best possible comfort of all our guests.


Laundry Services

Same-day laundry service and overnight shoe shine is available. Pressing service is available upon request.


Parking

The Hotel offers the following valet parking services:

  • Overnight parking: $42   
  • Daytime function: $26  
  • Evening function: $26  
  • Weekend function: $26   
  • Restaurant: $12, with validation      
  • Late Charge: $12 Late Charge Time: 2:00 p.m.


Pet Policy

Pets of all sizes are welcome in the hotel at a cost of $25/night. The pet must be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended in the room. Any damage incurred to the room by the pet is the responsibility of the guest. Guide dogs are always welcome and exempt of charges.

For individuals who are not able to travel with their pet, the hotel offers the services of Catie Copley, Canine Ambassador. Catie, a black Labrador formerly trained as a guide dog, warmly greets guests upon arrival to the hotel. She is also available for scheduled walks and runs with guests. Please visit the Concierge Desk to make your appointment or send Catie Copley an e-mail.


Safe Deposit Boxes

Safe deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk at no extra charge.


Specialty Shops

The Fairmont Copley Plaza offers a variety of unique retail offerings to meet all your needs.

The Fairmont Store
Located on the main Lobby level this boutique offers a variety of signature gift items that celebrate the destination and provide the perfect souvenirs of the Fairmont Copley Plaza.  Sundries are also available.

Denise-Hajjar-Boston
This new boutique features local designer Denise Hajjar's line of ready-to-wear and made-to-order couture.  Ms. Hajjar is the Fairmont Copley Plaza's "Designer in Residence" providing guests with custom-made bridal and evening wear and business attire, as well as on-site tailoring and alteration services.  Her boutique also features a wide array of accessories and gifts.

DePrisco Diamond Jewelers
Located in sparkling Peacock Alley on the main Lobby level, DePrisco's Jewelers is a well-known and respected Boston institution.  The store features an array of diamonds and fine jewelry, as well as gifts.


Wheelchair Accessibility

There are 12 rooms at the hotel which are specially adapted for physically challenged guests. These rooms are in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Housekeeping Department can also provide raised toilet seats and shower chairs upon request.
