Porteau Cove Enroute and between Horseshoe Bay and Squamish is Porteau Cove. Conveniently located just off the highway, this serene location is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic roadside picnic. The cove consists of several old ships, including a 1920’s tugboat, a sailboat hull, and a former minesweeper that have been sunken to create artificial reefs. It is a favorite of local divers.
