Mark Huntley, Regional Vice President, United States Central Region is pleased announce the appointment of Michael Musarra as General Manager of The Fairmont Dallas. In this role, Mr. Musarra will oversee the performance and operations of The Fairmont Dallas, the 545 room property in the Dallas Arts District, an award winning food and beverage portfolio and over 70,000 square feet of meeting space.

Mr. Musarra brings a wealth of domestic and international experience to the position, with a career spanning over 20 years in the hospitality industry. Early in his career, Mr. Musarra worked with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts; he later owned and operated a restaurant in France. In 1997, Mr. Musarra joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he held a series of progressive executive positions throughout the Westin, Sheraton, and St. Regis brands, including Director, Rooms Division; Director, Six Sigma; Director, Food & Beverage; and Hotel Manager. In 2006, Mr. Musarra was appointed to Southern California Regional Operations at the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach, California.

Mr. Musarra joined Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in 2008 as Complex Director of Operations of The Fairmont Acapulco Princess and The Fairmont Pierre Marques. In 2010, he was appointed to his most recent position as Hotel Manager of The Fairmont San Francisco. Mr. Musarra holds a degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt in Statistical Analysis & Process Improvement, and holds numerous leadership and strategic certifications from Cornell University.
