Please note that the City of Austin has issued a no-left turn onto Red River Street when heading East on East Cesar Chavez Street. To enter Fairmont Austin’s front entrance, please turn left on Trinity Street, which is one block before Red River Street. Please ensure that you follow this route detour to avoid the $500 fine as enforced by the City of Austin.

Great hotel. Neighboring construction can be a bit loud in the morning.
All the staff from all ranks were exceptionally kind, helpful, and more than willing to take extra steps. First time in Austin, and my stay here added my experience!
We were treated with exceptional customer service throughout our stay at the Fairmont. We were there for an anniversary staycation. The staff at Fairmont Gold (35th floor) was beyond awesome! The manager at Fairmont Gold, Jesse was attentive to all our needs, guest services Benjamin quickly assisted with an issue we had and Maria was all smiles while checking us in. The only issue we had was a special dessert delivered to the hotel, which was delivered to the hotel at 7:30 PM, but it did not arrive to our hotel room until 1 AM. After my husband called to inquire on the dessert that never appeared. Thankful he called to see where the dessert was, which was left in the fridge.
Beautiful property, clean rooms and just a peaceful experience. Loved the smell of the hotel - what is that?!!??

First time there for work.
3 night stay, used pool, bar, cafe and restaurant on site. Very happy with atmosphere, comfort and service. Only down side was I paid for the eclipse pool party and it was not as advertised. There was no DJ, music, nor any games as promised. Hotel management was able to comp a few things to compensate for the expense of the pool party tickets.
Stayed 2 nights on a business trip. Will definitely book the Fairmont again. The Austin streets filled with vagrants at night should be addressed by the local government however. What a shame.
Disappointed that the tv in my room needed to be rebooted each time I turned it on. Was able to get it working but needed to unplug/plug in cable each time. Also TV connection on the two elliptical machines in the fitness center did not work. Gold level lounge was great.
