Fairmont Hotels & Resorts isn’t resting on its laurels when it comes to growth. The company has recently announced a number of exciting hotel projects. With plans to develop over 20 new properties in the coming years in several new destinations, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts will be represented in 22 countries by 2014.

		Fairmont Baku, Azerbaijan (2012)
		Fairmont Baku will be located on a prime site next to the Azerbaijan parliament buildings and overlooking the Caspian Sea. This new iconic complex, the Flame Towers, will incorporate hotel, residential and commercial space and will be linked by centrally located retail and leisure facilities.

		Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv, Ukraine (2012)
		The classically designed hotel will feature 257 rooms, including 35 suites offering an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. In addition, guests can enjoy Fairmont Gold, the brand’s exclusive lifestyle offering warm and personalized service with amenities such as a private reception desk and a comfortable guest lounge. Along with a selection of dining outlets, guests can relax in a specialty Champagne bar, as well as a cigar bar. For special events, the hotel offers 1210 m² of meeting and function space, including a 480 m² ballroom. Recreational facilities will include a Willow Stream Spa.

		Fairmont Makati, Philippines (2012)
		Fairmont Makati, Philippines will offer 300 rooms and suites, a wide range of meeting and function space, a large, outdoor pool, a spa and fitness facilities as well as Fairmont Gold. The hotel will be conveniently located near the Philippine Stock Exchange, many offices and headquarters of global companies in addition to some of the city’s most prominent luxury shopping.

		Fairmont Palm Jumeirah, Dubai (2012)
		The resort will be built on The Palm, Jumeirah- an extensive development project being built along Dubai's Jumeirah coastline. Situated on the prime southwest side of the 'Trunk' portion, the resort will stretch over 460 meters of beachfront, providing the perfect seaside oasis while in close proximity to the island's core features. It will feature extensive indoor and outdoor meeting space, outdoor leisure activities, a Willow Stream spa, pool complex, beach clubs and many dining alternatives.

		Fairmont Fujairah, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (2013)
		Located on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates with sweeping views of the Gulf of Oman and lauded for its natural beauty set against the backdrop of the historic Hajar Mountains, a Fairmont flag will fly at Fairmont Fujairah. The project will consist of a 88-room hotel with dedicated meeting facilities, a Willow Stream spa and a marina.

		Fairmont Nanjing, Nanjing, China (2013)
		Situated on the south bank of the Yangtze River, Nanjing is a cultural and commercial metropolis and the hotel will be part of a new residential and commercial development in the ever-expanding city. The hotel will feature 371 spacious guestrooms and suites and guests will enjoy a variety of restaurants and bars as well as a 1,800 square meter Willow Stream Spa, pool and fitness facilities. With 2,500 square meters of function and meeting space, the property will be able to accommodate groups both small and large.

		Fairmont Riyadh, Business Gate, Saudi Arabia (2013)
		Located just north of the city, Fairmont Riyadh, Business Gate will be part of a new mixed-use development project comprising the hotel, a convention centre and commercial real estate space that will house multinational corporations as well as regional companies.The hotel will feature 287 spacious guestrooms, including Fairmont Gold. Guests will enjoy a selection of dining venues as well as spa and fitness facilities. The convention center comprises 4,000 square meters of meeting and function space including two main ballrooms offering 1,500 square meters each.

		Fairmont Chengdu (2014)
		For corporate and leisure travelers, this contemporary hotel will be situated within the Palm Springs International Centre in Tianfu New Town and will feature 375 spacious guestrooms as well as approximately 60 serviced apartments. A vibrant selection of dining options will be available, including a restaurant on the 39th floor featuring panoramic city views. For meetings and events within the hotel, a total of 1,500 square meters of function space will be on offer, including a 900 square meter ballroom. Amenities include a Willow Stream Spa and fitness and pool facilities.

		Fairmont Taiyuan, China (2014)
		Located in the capital of Shanxi Province in the historic city of Taiyuan, the 330-room luxury hotel will be situated along the Fen River offering spectacular views, yet within walking distance of the new Central Business District in Taiyuan. The hotel will feature a variety of dining outlets, a 7,000 square meter private club, 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,500 square meter ballroom and a Willow Stream Spa.

		Fairmont Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia (2014)
		Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta will feature 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square meter ballroom.

		Fairmont Amman (2014)
		This luxurious hotel will be situated next to the Fifth Circle in the heart of Amman, less than 30 minutes from the airport, adjacent to the Embassy District, the new Royal Jordanian headquarters, the Abdali Development, as well as the desirable residential community of Abdoun. The Fairmont Amman will feature 300 luxurious guestrooms and suites including Fairmont Gold. For corporate events, weddings and local galas, over 2,000 square meters of function space, including an 800 square meter ballroom.

		Fairmont Pekin Moscow (2014+)
		Fairmont Pekin Moscow will be centrally located in the city, at the junction of the Garden Ring and Triumfalnaya Square. Opposite is the Mayakovsky Monument and metro station, while the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Satire Theater and Red Square are situated nearby. The hotel will feature 236 spacious guestrooms and suites, including Fairmont Gold. Guests will also enjoy a selection of dining venues, 950 square meters of meeting and function space as well as a Fairmont branded spa and fitness facilities.
