Whale Watching

What a thrill! When whale watching guests have the chance to see: Orca (killer whales), Minke Whales, Humpback Whales, Gray Whales, Dolphins, Harbour Seals, Steller Sea lions, California Sea lions, Elephant Seals, Dalls Porpoise, Harbour Porpoise, Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Peregrine Falcons, Common Murre, Pigeon Guillemots, Rhinoceros Auklets, Common Loon, Mergansers, Grebes, Tufted Puffins and lots more...Even if the whales are not to be found you will be able to see other sealife. Not to mention the excitement of being out on the ocean. 
Whale watching tours are generally 3hrs per tour and range in price from $89-$99

Boating and Fishing

Located on the southern most tip of Vancouver Island, fishing and boating options abound. Fishing charters and boat rentals are available year round and can be booked through the concierge.

Seaplane tours are an exciting way to enjoy spectacular vista of Victoria and the surrounding areas. Floatplanes are a very popular mode of transportation on the West Coast - introduce yourself to an exhilarating splashdown landing!

For Golf Enthusiasts, Vancouver Island is the place to be. Discover new and established wineries on southern Vancouver Island. During it’s infancy, it is an exciting time to visit local wineries who are beginning to receive acclaim on their wines. Most wineries on Vancouver Island produce small amounts of wine, which are exceedingly difficult to purchase in stores, and must be bought on site. Spend an afternoon on a winery tour with tastings and lunch to experience the exciting new developments of what could become Napa North. Vancouver Island Gardens

Vancouver Island is an incomparable destination for garden lovers. The Most Famous being:

Butchart Gardens is fifty-five acres of wonderful floral display, offering spectacular views as you stroll along meandering paths and expansive lawns. While enjoying the gardens one is also able to take advantage of a number of different dining facilities and various gift shops. The gardens are approximately a 45-minute drive from downtown Victoria. The hours of operation are 9am to 7pm. There are numerous ways to visit the garden: vehicle, grayline tour or express shuttles.
