The Willow Stream Spa at The Fairmont Empress is ranked as one of the top spas in Canada by Condé Nast Traveller and is one of the most popular Vancouver Island spas. We are located just past the lobby in the beautiful  Fairmont Empress. A second entrance is located on Humboldt Street.

Your Willow Stream Spa Experience
Please arrive at least 30 to 45 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete a medical history form, change into your robe, relax and unwind in our lounge.

The Spa Ritual
All guests may enjoy our Spa Ritual - a Finnish Steam Room, detoxifying hot Sauna, and soothing Hungarian Thermal Mineral Bath. This experience is recommended prior to any spa treatment to prepare the body for total relaxation and nourishment, or to relax the body after exercise. The Spa Ritual is complimentary with every treatment. We suggest:

  • 5 minutes in the Sauna
  • 5 minutes in the Finnish Steam Room
  • 10 minutes in the Hungarian Thermal Mineral Bath
  • 10 minute rest in our soothing Lounge where refreshments are available
