Go Green, Stay Green Package

The Fairmont Empress has always lead the way for global stewardship and sustainable practices, long before they were ever buzz words. We are proud to offer this Victoria eco adventure package, which offers both environmental peace of mind and luxury.

Package Includes:

Accommodation (all our rooms offer recycling, laundering options and many organic meal options through In-Room Dining)
3 Hour Eco-Whale Watching Tour through Sea Fun Safaris
Local, organic wine amenity in room paired with local organic cheese plate

We will donate $25 CAD from each Victoria eco vacation package towards the adoption of a Marmot, through the Vancouver Island Marmot Recovery Center, ensuring it's continued existence.

Seafun Safaris:
Drift up close to seals and sea lions. Skim the waves with schools of porpoise. See majestic eagles soar overhead. Watch in awe as nature's most awesome predator, Orca, the Killer Whale swims right past.

Seafun only employs guides who are conservationists and who are passionate about the environment. Their goal is to give Victoria eco tour guests a fun-filled and action-packed adventure and to share their passion by educating and encouraging participants to become better stewards over their own particular environment.

Vancouver Island Marmot Recovery Center:
The most endangered species in Canada lives right here on Vancouver Island. With only 253 left in the world, the wild population is holding on by a thread. There is still time to beat the extinction clock. The Fairmont Empress will be donating $25 from each Victoria eco vacation package to the Vancouver Island Marmot Recovery center for every "Go Green, Stay Green" package booked.
