United States

• The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii invites guests on an adventure amid tropical green rainforests, lush pasturelands, mountainous volcanoes and majestic shorelines with their Big Island Adventure package which includes accommodation, choice of a memorable visit to Kilauea volcano, Kohala waterfalls, Mauna Kea summit and stargazing or a rough-and-tumble outing in a Pinz trek off road, Big Island Revealed guide book, and luau feast/performance at the resort's "Gathering of the Kings".  Rates start from $489 per night, through December 20, 2008.

• Eco is the New Chic at The Fairmont San Francisco where guests can experience its signature "Lexus Hybrid Living Suite", a unique tower accommodation designed to create a hip new destination for the eco-savvy traveler.   Designers from Lexus Hybrid Living are lending their expertise to join Fairmont in demonstrating that luxury and comfort can co-exist with style and a conscience. Package includes accommodation, one bottle of local organic wine upon arrival, access to a signature "green guide to San Francisco" and free parking for Hybrid cars.  Rates start at $869 per night, year-round.

• The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa and EV Rental Cars presents the Luxury of Green Package which includes nightly accommodation in a suite, two-day rental of a Hybrid Vehicle from EV Rentals (pick up at SFO or OAK airports), organic Sonoma Lavender Kur (or choice of (2) 50-min spa treatments), a regionally inspired “Farm Trail” dinner for two and a daily complimentary hike to the resort's adopted Sonoma Overlook Trail.  Rates from $1,200 per night, year round, exclusive of automobile taxes, optional insurance and airport fee.  Please call (707) 938-9000 to book. 

• Let the Sonoran Eco-Education package at The AAA Five-Diamond Fairmont Scottsdale Princess color your travels green with accommodations in a Fairmont "recycling" room, breakfast for two, a half-day educational hike in the Sonoran Desert, including transportation and trail snacks, and one re-usable travel mug to reduce waste while traveling.  Rates from $549 per night, year-round. 

• Have a Whale of a Time at The Fairmont Olympic and enjoy Seattle’s green sites.  The package for two includes two-night stay in an Executive Suite, daily breakfast, scenic roundtrip floatplane ride across the Puget Sound to Friday Harbor, admission and self-guided tour at The Whale Museum, lunch at a local restaurant, Downriggers, a guided whale-watching excursion, complimentary valet parking and an Adopt-an-Orca Package.  Two-night package rates start from $1,499, with additional nights from $369, April 19 - October 5, 2008.  For every package sold, The Fairmont Olympic will donate $100 to The Whale Museum.

• At The Fairmont Dallas, guests can Nurture Nature with overnight accommodation, admission for two to the 66-acre Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens located on the shores of nearby White Rock Lake, a gourmet picnic for two with keepsake basket, and complimentary valet parking at both the Hotel and the Arboretum.  Rates per night from $289, year-round.

• The Fairmont Washington’s Panda Package offers fun for all ages with accommodation and a Zoo Welcome Kit, including disposable camera, zoo activity book, coupons, stuffed panda, and access to the Panda Exhibit at The Washington Zoo.  The hotel will make a $10 donation to the Giant Panda Conservation Fund for each night booked.  Rates from $199 per night, year-round.

• Birdwatchers can check out the Blue Hills Adventure package at The Fairmont Copley Plaza, Boston.  Made famous by Harry Potter’s Hedwig, the snowy owl is the commonwealth’s largest owl, and the hotel supports research through the Snowy Owl Telemetry Project at the Blue Hills Trailside Museum.  Package includes overnight accommodation, Birds of Massachusetts Field Guide, two tickets to the Blue Hills Trailside Museum and a donation to the Snowy Owl Telemetry Project.  Rates start from $279 per night, March 1 to December 30, 2008.  Overnight guests in Hybrid vehicles receive complimentary valet parking.

• Going Green to See Chicago at The Fairmont Chicago offers two nights’ accommodation, two adult 2-day Go Chicago Cards (includes admission to over 25 of Chicago's best attractions, museums, activities and tours) and two 2-day Visitor Passes valid for unlimited rides on all Chicago Transit Authority city buses and trains.  Two-night package rates from $516 per room, year-round. 

Canada

• Go Green, Stay Green in Victoria’s Fairmont Empress, celebrating its Centennial in 2008.  Package includes overnight accommodation, welcome treat of Venturi Shultz Local Organic Wine paired with local organic cheese, three-hour Eco Whales and Wildlife tour (includes whale watching between April - Nov and Eco Wildlife tour Dec - March 30).  For each Green package stay, The Fairmont Empress will donate $25 to The Vancouver Island Marmot Recovery Foundation. • At The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, guests can Leave No Footprints in this pristine environment. In addition to charming accommodations, enjoy a guided hike or snowshoe with a Mountain Heritage Guide, a welcome amenity that that highlights local, seasonal ingredients, and complimentary valet parking for Hybrid and low emission vehicles. For each stay, a donation will be made to Zero Footprint (www.zerofootprint.net) to offset the guest’s carbon footprint. Rates start from CDN $279 per night, from Feb 15-December 15 2008.

• The Fairmont Winnipeg partners with Habitat for Humanity on the Home Sweet Home package, which includes accommodation, daily breakfast, transportation to and from the home building site each day, and a soothing amenity kit, including band-aids, hand cream, and access to the steam room after the day's work is done.  Rates from CDN $219 per night, May 15 - September 30, 2008.  The Fairmont Winnipeg will donate $25 to Habitat for Humanity for each package booked.  All participants will be invited back to a Dedication Ceremony, and should guests have the spirit, but not the time, they can still make an impact by simply reserving the package without actually building.

• Plan a Green Getaway at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York with accommodation, picnic lunch for two (and up to two children), reusable picnic tote, Toronto Island Ferry tickets for a family of four, Green Toronto map and complimentary family TTC pass (weekends/holidays).  For every package room night booked, $10 CDN will be donated to the Toronto Environmental Alliance.  Rates start at CDN $269 per night, April 4 - September 1, 2008.

• Fairmont Chateau Laurier’s Urban Cycling package is a ride in the park, with accommodation, daily two-hour bicycle rental, ice cream treat for post-biking and complimentary parking for guests who drive Hybrid cars. Rates from CDN $295 per night, May 16 to September 7, 2008.

• The Nature Package at Quebec’s Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello provides accommodation, breakfast daily (for up to a family a four), one family admission to Omega Park (a nearby wildlife animal park), access to walking trails, free valet parking for Hybrid vehicles. During the summer months, a full-day of canoeing or kayaking, a Bug's Life children’s program and a visit to a local farm are also included.  Rates from CDN $335 per night, April 1 to December 22, 2008.

• Fairmont Le Manoir Richeliu’s Adopt a Beluga package provides accommodation, breakfast for two, three-hour whale watching excursion on the Saint Lawrence River for two adults, complimentary valet parking for all Hybrid vehicles and access to the Multi-sport Centre, including indoor/outdoor, heated salt-water pools. A donation of $10 from each package sold will go to GREMM (Group for Research and Education on Marine Mammals).  Rates from CDN $339 per night, May 17 - September 30, 2008.

• The Fairmont Hotel Newfoundland’s Windows on the Stream package provides accommodation, local organic breakfast for two and two passes to the Fluvarium.  Derived from the latin root "fluv" (meaning flowing water), a section of Nagle's Hill Brook has been diverted to flow past nine viewing windows at The Fluvarium to allow visitors the opportunity to view the underwater world.  Rates from CDN $269 per night, April 1 - December 30, 2008.

• The Fairmont Algonquin’s Whale of a Time features overnight accommodation, full breakfast, one adoption certificate of a Right Whale in your name from the Grand Manan Whale & Seabird Research Station.  Rates starting from CDN $199 in winter,  $269 in summer, valid year-round.

International

• The Fairmont Southampton is an ideal location to explore the natural beauty of Bermuda with the East to West Bermuda Walking Adventure. From the historic railway trail and beach hikes to the Audubon Certified Fairmont Southampton Golf Course and sustainable cuisine, the hotel is proud to do its part to preserve the island. • At The Fairmont Hamilton Princess, go green and Swim with the Dolphins with two nights’ accomodation, afternoon tea, and a Swim with the Dolphins experience.  Rates start at $600 per night, available weekends only, minimum two night stay.  Valid April 1 - December 30, 2008.
