General Terms and Conditions

• Membership in the Fairmont President’s Club program is complimentary and is available to individuals residing in countries that legally permit participation in frequent-stay programs.Membership in, and application for, the Fairmont President’s Club program is void if prohibited by law in the country of the member or applicant’s domicile.
• Members of Fairmont President’s Club must be at least 18 years of age. Personal identification, with date of birth for verification purposes, may be required upon check-in.
• Fairmont President’s Club program membership and its benefits are offered at the sole discretion of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
• Colleagues of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and any other of its affiliates are eligible to participate in the Fairmont President’s Club program, but they will not receive stay credits toward elite levels or any benefits of the program. For a complete list of guidelines for Colleagues, please refer to the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Colleague Policy.
• Fairmont President’s Club has no predetermined termination date and may continue until, at any time, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts decides to terminate Fairmont President’s Club, with or without notice. Members will have three months from the date Fairmont President’s Club is terminated to redeem a certificate.
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to add, modify, delete or otherwise change any of the terms, rules,procedures, conditions, benefits, rewards or reward levels pertaining to Fairmont President’s Club at its sole discretion, with or without notice, even though changes may affect the value of reward certificates already issued. This means that Fairmont Hotels & Resorts may make changes that affect, but are not limited to, travel partner affiliations, rules and procedures for the use of benefits, continued availability of awards, blackout dates, room availability, benefit types and the features of special offers.
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to discontinue Fairmont President’s Club program membership for any member who appears to be using the Fairmont President’s Club program in a manner inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions, or the intent of the Fairmont President’s Club program or any one of the Fairmont President’s Club program benefits offered, including, but not limited to, reward redemption or certificate use. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts also reserves the right to discontinue membership for any member who, as deemed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, engages in unruly behavior or conduct unbecoming of a guest of a luxury hotel or resort, or who acts in a manner inconsistent with local or federal laws, statutes or ordinances.
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to revoke or suspend Fairmont President’s Club memberships based on unsettled accounts, NSF checks or a discrepancy with Fairmont President’s Club memberships until accounts have been settled or the issue has been resolved.
• Discontinued membership may result in the cancellation of benefits and privileges. In addition to discontinuance of the Fairmont President’s Club program, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts shall have the right to take appropriate administrative and/or legal action, including criminal prosecution, as it deems necessary in its sole discretion.
• All interpretations of Fairmont President’s Club’s Terms and Conditions shall be at the sole discretion of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
• Each Fairmont President’s Club member is responsible for advising Fairmont Hotels & Resorts of any address changes or change of credit card information. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is authorized to bill any charges incurred by the member at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, or participating hotels, to any credit card number the member provides.
• Specific Fairmont President’s Club program benefits and services have been established for all members; however, benefits and services offered by participating hotels may vary.
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is not responsible, and assumes no liability, for changes or discontinuation of partner products and/or services, which may affect the Fairmont President’s Club program.
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to limit membership benefits, airline miles stay and room night credits to qualifying room rates. Qualifying rates are determined by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and can be deemed non-qualifying at any given time, without prior notice.Travel-industry rates (including, but not limited to airline crew rates, travel agent rates and tour group escort rates) will not be considered qualifying rates toward member status.Complimentary or barter room stays or any stays booked through online channels where the brand is unknown at the time of purchase (including but not limited to Priceline.com, Hotwire.com) are considered as not qualifying and will not be eligible for credit.Certificates are not eligible for redemption on travel-industry rates airline crew rates, travel agent rates, tour group escort stays, packages and promotions.
• Neither Fairmont Hotels & Resorts nor the Fairmont President’s Club program is responsible for requests or correspondence lost or delayed in the mail. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is not responsible for, and reserves the right to correct, any pricing or typographical errors, errors of description, or errors regarding participating properties and partners.
• It is the responsibility of the member to report any lost or stolen membership cards or credit cards to the Fairmont President’s Club Guest Services Team at 1 877 232 7070 or fpcguestservices@fairmont.com immediately to avoid unauthorized use of the card.Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is not responsible for any charges incurred as a result of a lost or stolen membership card, unless the loss has been reported to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts provides the Fairmont President’s Club program with these and other materials, and other services and products “as is” and, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, expressly disclaims any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, design, accuracy, capability, sufficiency, suitability, capacity, completeness or availability.The member agrees that Fairmont Hotels & Resorts does not represent, warrant or guarantee that the Fairmont President’s Club program or any such other products and services will be uninterrupted, without omissions or error free, or that defects will be corrected or changes implemented. Under no circumstances shall Fairmont Hotels & Resorts be held liable for, including, but not limited to, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of Fairmont President’s Club or any other products and services, even if Fairmont Hotels &Resorts or a Fairmont Hotels & Resorts representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, such exclusions may not apply. In the event that Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is held liable for any damages related to such matters, the member’s sole and exclusive remedy will be limited to reimbursement for services or products paid by the member to the entity held liable which were provided by such entity. The member hereby waives any and all rights to bring any claim or action related to such matters in any forum beyond two years after the first occurrence of the kind of act, event, condition or omission upon which the claim or action is based.
• Your personal information will be used for the purpose of providing you with services at our hotels and resorts, servicing your requests, improving our services, developing and informing you of additional services provided by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts (including the Fairmont President’s Club program, or any direct or indirect affiliate or business partner that may be of interest), or answering questions you may have. For example, such information may be used to inform you about programs related to hotels, car rentals, airlines, consumer products or other offerings. We may also communicate and disclose personal information to our affiliates, and we and our affiliates may communicate and disclose your information to other third parties in order to offer or provide you with any special promotions or services that may be of interest to you, unless you notify us of your intention to opt out in the manner described below. Occasionally, we will send you communications with information, which may be useful to you, including information and offerings about our services or those of our affiliates or third parties, unless you decide to opt out in the manner described below. We may also aggregate statistics that we gather about our customers and provide these statistics to third parties. However, when we do, these statistics will not include personal information that identifies individuals. All reasonable measures have also been taken to ensure that the information you provide to us will not be used by our affiliates or third parties for purposes other than those indicated in this document. We may also use, disclose and communicate your personal information if required to do so by law, including by an order of any court. In the event that we disclose your personal information to an affiliate or third party, and if you give your consent to such person to collect, use, disclose or communicate such information for new or different purposes than those set out in this document, then you agree that, to the extent permitted by law, such person may collect, use, disclose and communicate such information for those purposes as well as for those set out herein. Fairmont President’s Club Program Overview

• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to add, modify or delete benefits or tier-level qualifications at its sole discretion, with or without notice.
• Fairmont President’s Club membership is for individual membership only. The membership and associated benefits are for the sole use of that member; membership is nontransferable. Memberships cannot be shared by more than one person, or combined with other memberships.
• Members are required to update Fairmont Hotels & Resorts (Fairmont President’s Club) with any changes to personal information that could affect their membership.
• Club-level membership has no expiry date.
• The qualifying period to achieve stays/room nights (for Premier and Platinum membership) is based on a calendar year for renewal purposes.
• Premier and Platinum membership certificates are active until the end of February each year. At that time, membership will be renewed with full benefit entitlement, based on stays/room nights achieved during the previous calendar year. Benefits do not carry over from one membership year to the next.  If a member achieves Premier or Platinum membership status by September 30, all benefits and privileges of the associated status will be in effect immediately; a member kit will be sent to those members who have a valid mailing address on their profile.   Existing Premier and Platinum Members who do not make the necessary tier criteria within the membership year will be downgraded to the appropriate tier level.
• It is the member’s responsibility to report a lost or stolen credit card or membership card.
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to request a member’s membership card, along with photo ID, at any time during their stay.
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has the right to restrict benefits and discontinue a member’s profile.
• Members are required to provide their Fairmont President’s Club number at time of reservation. Members who do not know their Fairmont President’s Club number at time of reservation will be requested to provide an additional piece of information. At check-in, members may be required to provide their Fairmont President’s Club number and photo ID.

Earning Fairmont President’s Club Premier or Platinum Status.

• To receive stay and or room night credit toward Premier or Platinum status, a member must be a registered guest of the hotel and stay overnight. Stay and or room night credits and benefits of the program can only be applied to the individual member who enrolled in Fairmont President’s Club and that individual member who is a registered guest of a Fairmont hotel or resort.
• A stay is defined as consecutive nights in the same hotel or resort, regardless of the number of check-ins/checkouts that may occur. Members must reserve the room in their name, provide their Fairmont President’s Club number and stay overnight. When a member books multiple rooms, only the room occupied by the member will be counted for stay and or room night credit towards the member's status.
• Stay and or room night credit for Fairmont President’s Club is for individual travel only. Only one Fairmont President’s Club member will receive credit for a stay, regardless of the number of members in the room. To receive a stay credit or room night credit, reservation must be booked on qualifying rates. Qualifying rates are determined by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and can be deemed non-qualifying at any given time, without prior notice. Travelindustry rates (including, but not limited to airline crew rates, travel agent rates and tour group escort rates) will not be considered qualifying rates toward member status. Certificates are not eligible for redemption on travel-industry rates airline crew rates, travel agent rates, tour group escort stays, packages and promotions. Complimentary or barter room stays or any stays booked through online channels where the brand is unknown at the time of purchase (including but not limited to Priceline.com, Hotwire.com) are considered as not qualifying and will not be eligible for credit.
• Stays or room nights occurring prior to enrollment may be applied from the beginning of the current calendar year, January 1.  Please contact the Fairmont President's Club Guest Services Team to have these stays credited to your profile.  
• Stay or room night credit is not applicable to condominiums, marinas or apartments at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts properties.
• Fairmont President’s Club will not grant tier status based on performance or status in other hotel loyalty programs.

Fairmont President’s Club Premier

• Fairmont President’s Club Premier membership will be awarded to members with 5 stays or 10 room nights per calendar year (January 1 to December 31).

Fairmont President’s Club Platinum

• Fairmont President’s Club Platinum membership will be awarded to members with 10 stays or 30 room nights per calendar year (January 1 to December 31).

Fairmont President’s Club Certificates and Benefits

• Certificates cannot be redeemed without advance notice to the Fairmont President’s Club Concierge at time of reservation.
• Original certificates (Room upgrade, suite upgrade, Premier complimentary third night and Platinum complimentary night certificates) must be presented at the Front Desk at time of check-in. Original Dining and Spa certificates must be presented upon the member’s being seated at the participating restaurant or upon check-in at the spa. In the event that original certificates are not provided, additional charges relating to the certificate may apply.
• Any certificates indicating a denomination are in US dollars, unless otherwise noted. Certificates will be exchanged at the time of presentation into local currency and will be based on the hotels current exchange rate of the day.
• All Platinum certificates are non-transferable, except to immediate family, meaning parent, child, spouse (including common law) and siblings.
• All Premier certificates are non-transferable.
• Certificates are non-refundable if lost, stolen or destroyed and have no cash surrender value. Certificates will expire at the end of February each year, unless otherwise printed on the certificate. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts can refuse a certificate(s) at any time and without notice.
• Certificates will be void if listed or advertised for sale or auction on the Internet, in newspapers and magazines, or other similar means. Fairmont reserves the right to deny any certificates it believes have been resold, transferred or conveyed contrary to this provision.
• Room upgrade certificates are subject to availability at time of reservation. Members are upgraded from the room category purchased to the next available room category, excluding Fairmont Gold. Not applicable to Fairmont Gold Rooms or Suites. Cannot be used as credit toward Fairmont Gold Rooms or Suites. Not applicable to suites. One certificate redeemable per stay. • Suite upgrade certificates are subject to availability at time of reservation. Members are upgraded from the room category purchased to the hotel’s designated suite category. Applicable to Fairmont room category and above. One certificate redeemable per stay. Cannot exceed a stay of five nights. Not applicable to Fairmont Gold Rooms or Suites. • Premier complimentary third night certificates are subject to availability; three consecutive nights must be booked, at one property, at time of reservation to receive the third night complimentary. Can only be used when the member pays for the first two nights of a threenight stay, based on qualifying rates. Valid for one complimentary night per stay only. Valid for room and tax only. Entitles member to a Fairmont Room and can be used in conjunction with a room or suite upgrade certificate. Cannot be used in conjunction with a Platinum complimentary night certificate. Not applicable to Fairmont Gold Rooms or Suites. Cannot be used as credit toward Fairmont Gold Rooms or Suites. Cannot be used in conjunction with packages and promotions. • Platinum complimentary night certificates are subject to availability at time of reservation. Entitles member to a Fairmont Room and can be used in conjunction with a room or suite upgrade certificate. Cannot be used in conjunction with a Premier complimentary third night certificate. • Dining/Spa certificates entitle the holder to lunch or dinner food services or spa treatments products. Alcohol and gratuities are not included. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other food and beverage package or special offer. Redeemable at all participating restaurants at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and at participating Willow Stream Spas and Fairmont Spas. Does not apply to in-room dining or in-room spa treatments. Must be presented to server upon the member’s being seated or upon check-in at the spa, based on availability. • Complimentary high-speed Internet access applies to daily in-room usage. Not applicable to in-room television Internet service or hotel work centers. Fairmont President’s Club members must be among the registered guests of the hotel or resort to receive complimentary highspeed Internet access.
• All 2011 program certificates expire on February 29, 2012, unless otherwise noted.
• Complimentary health club privileges are available to members when staying as a registered guest of the hotel or resort. This privilege applies to in-hotel health clubs only and excludes Willow Stream Spa health clubs. This privilege applies to Fairmont President’s Club members only.
• Fairmont President Club certificates and benefits may be subject to income or other taxes. Members of Fairmont President’s Club will be responsible for paying all such taxes and for making all applicable disclosures. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts will not be liable for any tax liability, duty or other charges in connection with the issuance of Membership certificates or benefits.
• Room Certificates cover single/double occupancy (2 adults). Charges for additional adults in the room may apply.
• Fairmont President’s Club members must be among the registered guests of the hotel or resort to receive 10% off treatments and products at Willow Stream Spas, The Spas at Fairmont. Discount may not be combined with other discounts, including, but not limited to, those provided to Fairmont Heritage Place owners or to those guests staying on a spa group contract. • Fairmont Fit is a benefit associated with Fairmont President’s Club. Only registered guests of the hotel or resort who are members of Fairmont President’s Club are able to use this and all other benefits. The Fairmont Fit benefit may change or be canceled at any time, without notice. This benefit offers in-house Fairmont President’s Club members the use of workout clothing, shoes, MP3 players, yoga mats and stretch bands. All items used (except socks) must be returned as to not incur charges. MP3 players, yoga mats and stretch bands are to be returned in the same condition as borrowed as to not incur charges. MP3 players will not be lent to the Fairmont President’s Club member unless the required waiver form is completed and signed by that member. The waiver form is available at the Front Desk. A service fee will apply to all Club-level members for the use of Fairmont Fit.
• Upon presentation of the Fairmont President’s Club membership card, the member discount of 15% at The Fairmont Store or Boutique Fairmont applies only to regularly priced Fairmont-branded products. The discount does not apply to convenience, sundry, confectionary products, Fairmont Ovation Rewards and Fairmont gift certificates. The discount does not apply to on-sale, marked-down items or online purchases. Maximum discount per transaction is equivalent to $1,000 in local currency. • To receive airline miles, reservations must be booked on qualifying rates. Qualifying rates are determined by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and can be deemed non-qualifying at any given time, without prior notice. Travel-industry rates (including, but not limited to airline crew rates, travel agent rates and tour group escort rates) will not be eligible for airline miles. Complimentary or barter room stays or any stays booked through online channels where the brand is unknown at the time of purchase (including but not limited to Priceline.com, Hotwire.com) are considered as not qualifying and will not be eligible for airline miles. • Retroactive credit for bonus airline miles earned as a benefit of being of a Fairmont President's Club will not be issued for stays that occurred prior to enrolling in Fairmont President’s Club.
• Benefits are provided to Fairmont President’s Club members only when they are registered guests of the hotel or resort.
• Club-level members will begin to receive in-hotel benefits during their next stay (following enrollment in Fairmont President’s Club).
• Fairmont Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to add, modify or delete tier-level benefits at its sole discretion, with or without notice.
• Guaranteed room access is provided to Fairmont President’s Club Platinum members at city hotels only, when reservations are made 72 hours prior to 4:00 p.m. local time on intended day of arrival and are reserved with a valid credit card. The hotel shall make available a Fairmont Room or other room type requested (excluding suites) at the sell rate of the day. In the event that the member does not arrive as scheduled, or does not call to cancel as per the hotel’s cancellation policy and does not have a cancellation number, the credit card will be charged one night’s room and tax. Guaranteed room access applies to one room only and must be occupied by the Fairmont President’s Club Platinum member. Benefit does not apply during blackout periods. • The Fairmont President’s Club Stay More Earn More benefit does not apply to Fairmont President’s Club members who are registered live-in guests of a Fairmont hotel or resort, or who stay more than 30 consecutive nights at one hotel or resort regardless of the number of check-ins/check-outs that may occur.
• Great Rates - Great Dates is offered exclusively to Fairmont President's Club Members.  You must be a member to book these rates.  Fairmont President's Club number is required at time of booking.  The Great Rates, Great Dates offer allows each Fairmont President's Club member the benefit of booking up to two rooms per stay period.  Great Rates must be booked within the seven-day time period allowed.  Offer is subject to availability and limited blackout dates at time of reservation for double occupancy in a Fairmont room.  Offer may not be combined with other promotions or offers.  Full, non-refundable payment is required at time of booking.
