  • From the Jean Lesage Airport to Fairmont Le Château Frontenac takes about 30 minutes.
  • From terminal, to end of access road, right on 'Route de l'Aéroport'.
  • Route de l'Aéroport on to Freeway 540 south (Boul Duplessis)
  • At the end of 540 south, exit Boul. Laurier
  • Boul. Laurier becomes Grande Allée and then rue St-Louis (inside old city)
  • The Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is at the end of this street on the right-hand side

From the East on North Shore (Malbaie, Ste-Anne de Beaupré)

  • Take provincial rd 138 west to Freeway 40 west
  • 40 west to 440 west (straight ahead)
  • At the end of 440 west, exit 'Grande Allée-Boul. René Lévesque'
  • Merge on Honoré Mercier, up the hill, past the National Assembly Buildings (on your right)
  • At traffic light, turn left on Grande Allée which becomes rue Saint-Louis inside the Old City
  • Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is at the end of the street on the right-hand side.

From the East on the South Shore (Maritimes, Lévis)

  • From Maritimes, Trans Canada 2 west in New Brunswick, on to 185 north in Quebec to junction 20 west (at Rivière du Loup)
  • 20 west to exit 314 (multiple exit)
  • Take exit to fwy 73 north, Quebec
  • 73 north to St-Lawrence river, crossing on Pierre Laporte suspension bridge
  • 1 km after the bridge 3rd exit, number 134-E, for Boulevard Laurier
  • Merge on Laurier east, which becomes Grande Allée and rue St-Louis (inside Old City)
  • The Château Frontenac is the last building on the right on rue St-Louis.

From the North (Chicoutimi, Stoneham)

  • Take Provincial hwy 175 south, on to Fwy 73 south and back on 175 south
  • At the end of freeway, on to Dorchester boul.
  • End of Dorchester, left on Côte d'Abraham
  • Halfway to the top, right on Honoré Mercier
  • Follow that street past the National Assembly Buildings (on your right) until the end
  • At the street light, turn left on Grande Allée
  • Grande Allée becomes rue St-Louis inside the Old City
  • Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is at the end of St-Louis Street, on the right-hand side

From the West on North Shore (Montréal, Trois Rivières)

  • 40 east to exit 305-S (540 south, Boulevard Duplessis)
  • 540 south to exit Boulevard Laurier
  • Merge on Laurier east, which becomes Grande Allée and rue St-Louis (inside the Old City)
  • Fairmont Le Château Frontenac is at the last building on rue St-Louis on the right.

From the West on South Shore (New York border, Vermont border, Montreal, Drummondville)

  • From New York, I-87 north, becomes Fwy 15 north at the border, to junction with 20 east
  • From Boston and Vermont, I-91 north, becomes fwy 55 north at the border, to junction with 20 east
  • 20 east to left hand exit 312-N (73 north, Quebec)
  • 73 north to St-Lawrence river, crossing on Pierre Laporte suspension bridge
  • 1 km (0.6 mile) after bridge, 3rd exit, number 134-E, for Boulevard Laurier
  • Merge on Laurier east which becomes Chemin St-Louis, Grande Allée and rue St-Louis (inside Old City)

From the South (Maine, Beauce)

  • From Maine, route 201 to Quebec border, becomes 173 north at the border
  • 173 north on to fwy 73 north
  • 73 north to St-Lawrence river, crossing on Pierre Laporte suspension bridge
  • 1 km (0.6 mile) after bridge, 3rd exit, number 134-E, for Boulevard Laurier
