Please note that in order to purchase the elopement ceremony offer, newlyweds must confirm:  

  • A minimum of a one night stay at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. A special room rate will be offered to you and your guests according to the desired date. 
  • Your wedding dinner or luncheon at our signature restaurant Le Champlain or in one of our romantic, private and historical reception salons which offer fabulous views of Old Quebec. Our pastry Chef will create your wedding cake according to the desired style and flavour! 
  • The Château’s wedding specialist Isabelle Radford will coordinate all aspects of your elopement and will assist you with your hotel stay and wedding dinner reservation.

Pierre Duguas des Mons Belvedere

Unique ceremony site

The Terrace Pierre Duguas des Mons Belvedere offers one of the nicest view of Quebec City, the Château and of the river. Just an 8 minute walk through Old Quebec's charming streets from the Castle to the Terrace. In case of rain, your ceremony would take place in one of our beautiful Castle's private hall.

The Château's floral designer will customize the wedding bouquet and boutonniere for the bride and groom. You will be presented various styles of bouquets to inspire you.

A kind, experienced English-speaking wedding celebrant with over 15 years of experience to perform your religious or civil, according to the civil registration with the Quebec Government, wedding ceremony. Two witnesses will be provided during your ceremony as required by the law should the newlyweds be on their own. The wedding celebrant will apply on your behalf for the wedding license. All legal requirements will be taken care of by the celebrant.

A professional violinist will serenade you during your wedding ceremony. He will be present 15 minutes prior to your ceremony and during the 30 minute ceremony. He offers a complete musical repertoire. Kindly let us know of your preferences!

Horse-drawn Carriage tour

Historic tour

A romantic 40 minute horse-drawn Carriage tour in the heart of Old Quebec. You will discover the historic district with its intramural narrow winding streets, the fortifications, the Hill and the spectacular Fontaine de Tourny, the Armoury, the beautiful Parc des Champs de Bataille, Jardin Jeanne d'Arc, Martelo towers and the Sacrifice Cross.

Wedding Photo Session

Wedding Photo Session

A talented photographer will be present for a 2 hour photo session. 30 minutes during your ceremony and 90 minutes after as he will take pictures of the newlyweds in various Old Quebec sites and at the Château. 50 pictures will be retouched and presented to you on a CD. It is possible to modify the length of time and have more pictures retouched for an extra fee.

  • Massage, hair stylist and make up artist for the bride and groom provided by the Château Frontenac PAYOT Institute.
  • Rental of a Rolls Royce or limousine with chauffeur for the day to tour the Quebec Region.
  • Old Quebec Food Tour - The kitchens of Quebec were influenced by the Amerindian, British and French cuisines. The Food Tours offer the opportunity to discover these different culinary and cultural traditions of Québec City. You are sure to appreciate the special flavors and tantalizing aromas of local shops. What’s on the menu? Local wine and beer, chocolate, cheeses, pastries, crepes, vegetarian delicacies and more! 2 hour 30 minutes.
  • Helicopter tour of Quebec City area.
  • Bike rental.
