In addition to gracefully winding fairways and heavily bunkered greens, Port Royal in Bermuda features one of the greatest holes in golf—the stunning 16th, a 238-yard par three with nothing but the Atlantic Ocean between the tee and the pin. Don’t forget your camera.

Mid Ocean Golf Club
A private members-only course with many holes near ocean cliffs, Mid-Ocean hosted the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in 2007 and 2008. Ranked among the top golf courses in the world and cathedral-like in its beauty, Mid Ocean administers the classic test: Good shots are rewarded; bad shots are penalized. True to form Mid Ocean's 6,547 yards heighten the long game with six par 4s exceeding 400 yards. Nonetheless, a card full of double and triple bogeys pales in comparison to the superb views of the mighty Atlantic Ocean. But win or lose the lasting thrill is to say, “I played Mid Ocean.”

Ocean View Golf Course
Located just ten minutes from the City of Hamilton in Devonshire Parish, Ocean View is owned and maintained by the Government of Bermuda. On this fully matured nine-hole course, enjoy splendid vistas of the Atlantic from several of the elevated tees. At 2,940 yards, it may seem tame but guess again. Its unpredictable terrain and rambling hills remain doggedly resistant to low scoring. Care to practice before your game? Ocean View also features a 260-yard driving range where the wind is often at your back.
