The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver uses the services of Nannies on Call, a well-renowned babysitting company in Vancouver. All of the nannies hold a current First Aid/CPR Certification and have undergone a full background check. Nannies on Call is licensed, bonded and insured.

Approximate costs are $18.00/hour (three hour minimum) for one or two children in the same family. Additional children $2.00 extra per hour for the same family and $3.00 extra per hour for different family. Past midnight $2.00 extra per hour. Statutory Holidays $2.00 extra per hour and Christmas and New Years Eve is double rates with a four hour minimum. Cancellation Policy is 24-hours notice.
Bellmen are located at the Entry Pavillion and in the Main Lobby of the hotel. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon.
The Concierge Desk is located in the Main Lobby. They can help you arrange dinner reservations, get theater tickets and give you directions to major attractions.
The hotel has six elevators that service from the Lobby to the guest rooms, Health Club and meeting rooms.

The Housekeeping staff is pleased to provide cribs and rollaways when needed. They also handle all request for lost and found items.

The hotel's parking facility is adjacent to the hotel and is underground.
- Valet parking: $30 CAD/night, including in-and-out privileges
- If you would prefer to park your car yourself, the charge is $30 CAD/night, including in-and-out privileges
- Visitors may also use the street parking for a maximum time of two hours. It is metered from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., seven days a week.
The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver has a program called: ''Pets Are People Too!''. All pets staying at the hotel receive:

- Information sheet on pet activities
The price is $25 CAD/night and the animal must not be left unattended in the room. Seeing-Eye dogs are always welcome and exempt of charges.
