Whitewater Rafting/Float Trips
Looking for a three-hour adventure? Take a ride on the white water of the Athabasca River. The Athabasca River flows from the Columbia Icefield and is designated as a Canadian Heritage River for its outstanding natural beauty and historical significance. 

The float trip provides a mild ride that is enjoyable for all ages, but if you are looking for a more wild ride, then definitely experience the whitewater rafting. Either way you choose to ride the river, the mountain views are incredible and the experience is unforgettable. 

Jasper Tramway
Discover a view from above. The Jasper Tramway is the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada. The experience offers visitors with unprecedented views of six mountain ranges, the Athabasca River, glacial fed lakes and the town-site of Jasper. On your way up Whistler’s Mountain a tour guide will enlighten you of the area, points of interest, animal life and history. More than just a pretty picture, it is a true learning experience.

Once at the top stroll the boardwalks to take in the incredible view and watch for wildlife.  For the more adventurous you can hike to the summit of Whistler’s mountain. After taking in all of the fresh mountain air, recharge your energy at the Treeline Restaurant before you descend from the mountain. 

If you run out of time during your day then you can certainly save this experience for the evening as well. At the peak of our summer the sun doesn’t set until 11 p.m. making the Jasper Tramway a great after dinner activity as well.

Winter Activities
Right from the hotel rent snowshoes, ice skates or cross-country skis and discover the hundreds of acres on and around the resort. Ski around Lake Edith Cavell and look out for wildlife. Try something new and snowshoe on Lac Beauvert. Or take the family ice-skating on Lake Mildred. After enjoying the crisp mountain air stop by the snack hut on Lake Mildred for delicious hot dogs and creamy hot chocolate.
