Hawaiian Canoe Experience
Learn the basics of paddling, along with the history of the canoe and its importance in the Hawaiian culture. Advance reservations are required, as space is limited we recommend booking in advance of your resort arrival. Though the activity is offered at no additional charge to registered guests, a 24-hour cancellation policy applies with a ‘no show’ fee of $65 per guest. Offered Monday through Friday (7am, 8am, 9am and 10am) from Polo Beach, the six-man outrigger canoe holds two staff paddlers with four guests, ages 10 years and older (when accompanied by a registered guest aged 18 or older).

ʻUkulele Lessons
Master the basics of strumming island tunes on the ʻukulele. (Every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday 9:00am - 10:00am, held in the Lehua and Lokelani ballrooms)
Hula Lessons
The hula is a traditional Polynesian dance accompanied by chants and gestures, known for its signature graceful hand movements and swaying style. The hula is a way of life in Hawaiʻi, an ancient form of communication which predates written language. We invite you to learn about the art of hula during your stay, and channel your own mana (energy) into dance. (Every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday 10:00am - 11:00am, held in the Lehua and Lokelani ballrooms)
Art, Culture & Chocolate
Our renowned Artist in Residence, Dale Zarrella, delights in recounting the Maui myths and legends that are the inspiration behind his life-sized bronze and rare local wood sculptures. Join Dale's walking tour about the grounds of the resort while Dale, who has commissioned works for Popes at the Vatican, weaves his yarns. Indulge in Dale's homemade chocolates, shaped like mini honu (turtle) at the completion of the tour. (Every Thursday at 10:00am, meet at Island Alcove located outside of the Fitness Center)
Fish Feeding at the Koi Pond
Feed breakfast to the resort's koi fish. Daily at 9am, meet at the Koi Pond located next to the entrance of Nick's Fishmarket. 360 View - Koi Pond
Torch Lighting Ceremony
A nightly tradition dating back centuries, the blowing of the pū (conch shell) signifies the ending of a beautiful day in paradise. This celebration concludes with an oli (chant).
