Tucked into the woodlands, Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello is a pure nature retreat. For guests to fully experience the wilderness, we offer secluded first-class chalets, with one to six bedrooms. Each private cabin comes equipped with propane lights, fully equipped kitchen, outside barbecue, furnace and hot water tank provided by propane gas, complete bathroom for your comfort and spacious screened porch or a large balcony. All cabins are off the electrical grid so solar panels power the high efficiency refrigerator and water pump. Ten have been given five-star chalet ratings by the Ministry of Tourism under the Quebec Outfitters program.  Each cabin also has its own unique location attributes like nearby waterfalls or superb views. While there is no cellular phone coverage at Fairmont Kenauk and the only blackberries grow on bushes, there is a pay phone at the Whitefish Lake Picnic site and free Wifi is also available at the entrance building and in the parking area.
