Sun-filled days and cozy nights are assured in this lovely one-bedroom log cabin on Papineau lake. A solar system powers a water pump in Papineau Lake that provides pressurized water to the chalet. Although this lake has supplied water to most of the chalets on the lake for generations, some guests prefer to bring bottled water for drinking. Ideal for up to six people, the chalet comes equipped with propane lights, barbeque, refrigerator, stove, furnace, washroom with hot shower, fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious screened porch.

Mills Chalet
Up to eight people will enjoy the rustic charm of this cozy one-bedroom log cabin. Located 9 miles (14 km) from Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello's entrance gate this chalet is only accessible by boat from Fairmont Kenauk's marina. Perched on an isthmus between Papineau and Mills Lakes, there are lake views from every window, making it an ideal choice for fishermen. A solar system powers a water pump in Mills lake which provides pressurized water to the chalet. This lake has crystal clear water but some guests prefer to bring bottled water for drinking. The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, barbeque, refrigerator, stove, furnace, washroom with a hot shower, fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious screened porch.

Taunton Chalet
Perfect for up to six people, this classic log cabin hideaway overlooks an excellent rainbow trout lake. Located 8 miles (13 km) from Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello's entrance gate, it offers one bedroom, a kitchen/dining room, a screened porch and a spacious open deck area overlooking the lake. A solar system powers an electric pump in the lake which provides pressurized water to the chalet. Although Taunton lake is clean and largely spring fed, some guests prefer to bring bottled water. The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, a barbeque, refrigerator, stove, furnace and a washroom with a hot shower.

Three Point Chalet
Three Point Chalet is a popular choice for guests seeking shelter under the white pines. Located on a rocky point stretching out into a remote rainbow lake, it is the only one bedroom chalet with a high efficiency wood stove that can be operated with the door opened like a fireplace. Able to accommodate two to four people, the chalet is located 14 miles (23 km) from the gates of Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello. The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, refrigerator, stove, furnace, hot shower, indoor flush toilet, fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious screened porch.
