Cedar Chalet
The Cedar Chalet is a bright and airy three bedroom accommodation for seven to eight people. Located 13 miles (21 km) from the gates of Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello on scenic Papineau Lake, where the small and large mouth bass are always hungry! The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, refrigerator, stove, furnace, hot shower, indoor flush toilet and a newly renovated kitchen and living area with a high efficiency wood stove.

Green Chalet
Offering secluded comfort for seven to eight people, the Green Chalet is located on a remote rainbow trout lake, 13 miles (21 km) from the gates of Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello. The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, refrigerator, stove, furnace, hot shower, indoor flush toilet and a newly renovated kitchen and living area complete with a high efficiency wood stove.

Hidden Chalet
Hidden Chalet's setting at the base of a waterfall makes it particularly special. Located 15 miles (24 km) from the entrance gate of Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello's entrance gate, it offers two bedrooms and a loft and is ideal for groups of four to eight people. The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, refrigerator, stove, furnace, hot shower, indoor flush toilet, fully-equipped kitchen, living area with a wood stove and a spacious screened porch.

Muskrat Chalet
A superb location for river fishermen and hikers at the rocky entrance to a series of rapids on the Kinonge River; upstream are the bass and downstream, the trout. Located 4 miles (7 km) from Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello's entrance gate, the Muskrat Chalet has two bedrooms and a loft as well as a cozy wood stove. The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, refrigerator, stove, furnace, hot shower, indoor flush toilet, fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious screened porch. Available all year, this chalet has access at the front door to hiking and snowshoe trails and is a short ski from Section 4 of the Canadian Ski Marathon trail.

Pine Chalet
A classic chalet on an unforgettable bend of the Kinonge River, the four-bedroom Pine Chalet has sleeping space for up to 14 people. Its large screened porch is surrounded by a bend in the river encompassing a gentle waterfall and trails lead to several nearby trout lakes. The chalet comes equipped with propane lights, stove, furnace, hot water tanks and a fully-equipped kitchen. An extensive solar system powers 2 high efficiency refrigerators and a well water pump that supplies pure drinking water. Four bathrooms contain 2 showers and a bath while the games room downstairs hosts a propane fireplace and pool table. Ideal for family reunions, the sleeping areas include four bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with 2 doubles, one with a double and a set of bunk beds and one with 2 sets of bunk beds. This chalet is available year round and the tranquility in winter has to be experienced to be believed. A perfect place to hold company retreats, it can accommodate 36 for a day meeting.

Pumpkinseed Chalet

Surrounded by small grassy areas with gentle slopes this chalet is well suited to families, especially with young toddlers.

Rough Chalet
The name is deceiving. This lovely chalet overlooks a deep rainbow trout lake and is renowned for its glorious sunsets. Located 12 miles (19 km) from Fairmont Kenauk at Le Chateau Montebello's entrance gate, the Rough Chalet offers two bedrooms, a loft and is perfect for four to eight guests. The chalet has a woodstove in the living area and comes equipped with propane lights, refrigerator, stove, furnace, hot shower, indoor flush toilet, fully-equipped kitchen and a spacious screened porch.

Sugarbush Chalet
The spacious three-bedroom Sugarbush Chalet has more than enough space to comfortably accommodate seven to eight people in rustic elegance. The newly renovated living area and kitchen overlook a prime rainbow trout lake. The deep water off the dock welcomes both those seeking to make the perfect cast to rising trout and those seeking to dive into a welcome respite from the summer heat. The chalet comes equipped with a wood stove, propane lights, stove, furnace, and hot shower. A solar system powers a high efficiency refrigerator and a well pump that delivers high pressure potable water to the chalet.

Papineau Chalet
Open year-round, Papineau Chalet is the newest and grandest chalet in this nature reserve. Spacious enough to easily accommodate 18 people, it has six bedrooms, a massive stone fireplace, large well-equipped kitchen and a solar system that powers two high efficiency refrigerators and a water pump that delivers high pressure potable water to the chalet. Tucked into the woods with a superb view overlooking Papineau Lake, the chalet is just a short drive north of Fairmont Kenauk's marina. At the front doorstep is Lake trout fishing in spring, bass fishing in summer and just 5 minutes from the back door is an excellent rainbow trout lake.
