LE POT POURRI
Established in 1965, ' Pot Pourri Inc. ' was the first gift shop in Montebello. In 1974 owner Simone Prégent Gauthier made the decision to move to the current location in the lobby of Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello. Specialising in local products, you will find in this charming boutique a great quality choice of exclusive jewellery, clothing for adults and children, paintings by local artists such as Jean-Yves Guindon, books and souvenirs featuring our Chateau... Open everyday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, ' Le Pot Pourri ' is brimming with local charm where you are sure to find just what you're looking for.

LE COQ EN FOLIE
In the heart of Montebello, this boutique is a real treat for the eyes. Less than a 10-minute walk from our resort, you will discover a large variety of souvenirs each more unique that the last. Roland and Louise, the boutique owners, are awaiting your visit. Remember your time in the Petite-Nation with a large variety of crafts and decorations for your garden, your kitchen and even for your next Christmas celebration. Open everyday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

DENISE HARVEY DESROCHES ATELIER GALERIE
Visit the studio and meet Denise Harvey-Desroches, an artist of international reputation who specializes in watercolor and casein. Throughout the year, you can make an appointment and visit the artist in her studio where you can learn more about watercolor techniques.

LES FOURRURES NATHALIE LAMBERT
Ms. Lambert, well known in Canada's high-profile fashion circles, specializes in high-end handcrafted men's and women's leatherwear. Enjoy beautifully designed leather hats, pillows, jackets and pants, as well as stylish suede coats and attractive fur coats.

BONHEUR DE PASSION
A quaint vestige of days past, this historic old home also doubles as a great place to find treasures to remember your stay in the rejuvenating Petite-Nation. Take a few minutes to browse around, noting the exquisite pieces of antiquity: mirrors, vases, china, paintings, and various knick-knacks. Hard-core collectors will most assuredly be drawn to the old wardrobes and in particular, the beautiful antique piano - and yes, it still works! Open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (open to 9:00 p.m. every Thursday and Friday).

MAGASIN J.P. DESCOEURS GOLF
If you want to hit the area courses but find yourself a little short in the way of equipment - like clubs for instance - Mr. Descoeurs, himself an avid golfer, has the cure to what ails you. Step into his little shop located behind his house (it's best to call first), and you'll find all you need to prepare yourself for a day on the links: clubs, apparel, golf balls and tees.

BOUTIQUE GENS DU PAYS
La Petite-Nation does not want for talented artists, and this neat little gallery is the place to find great local artwork. Among the featured paintings on display are oils by Y. Dussault and Lucie Gauthier, watercolors by Montreal native Josée Fleury, and the delicate style of acclaimed Montebello local artist, Denise Harvey Desroches.

GALERIE D'ART RENÉE DUPONT
Any visit to the cozy little village of Papineauville would not be complete without stopping by the workshop of this talented local artist. Renée Dupont's forte is pottery, and her work is second to none. She is also an accomplished sculptor. Make sure you call first, or you run the risk of Madame Dupont being ' out of the office '.

GST Rebate Information
The goods and services tax (GST) is a 7% tax charged for most goods and services sold or provided in Canada. As a visitor to Canada, you will pay the tax on most of your purchases. Under the visitor rebate program, you may get a refund of the tax paid on goods and accommodations in Canada, provided it is less than one month per lodging establishment.

You qualify for a tax refund if:

• You are not a resident of Canada.    
• The total of your purchase amounts (before taxes) for eligible goods and accommodation must be at least $200.00 CAN    
• Each individual receipt for eligible goods shows a minimum total purchase amount (before taxes) of $50.00 CAN    
• You have your original receipts.    
• You apply for the refund within one year of purchasing the qualifying goods and accommodations.
