Telluride and Mountain Village are connected by a scenic 12-minute complimentary gondola ride.

The only transportation system of its kind in North America, the gondola features cars that travel via cables up and across the mountain between Telluride and Mountain Village. It is both handicapped and pet accessible and is free to pedestrians.
The gondola operates from 7 a.m. to midnight daily in the summer and winter seasons.

Does the property have any meeting space?
The Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge is able to host small meetings and events in our Alta Room, which can accommodate up to 20 people seated and 40 people standing. The room can be set up according to guest specifications. The adjoining Alta Deck offers spectacular views of the Village and surrounding mountains. The Lodge is also located adjacent to the Telluride Conference Center.
