The Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge is conveniently located just steps from the Telluride Golf Club, a 6,574-yard, 18-hole, semi-private championship, par 70 course. With weather conditions in the summer boasting temperatures of 70-75 degrees and cool breezes, the climate and the scenery in Telluride are ideal for golf. The Lodge offers close proximity to the course and complimentary golf valet.
Telluride Golf Course Information
Telluride Golf Course is perched 9,500 above sea level, surrounded by the highest concentration of 14,000-foot mountains in the United States. The course is located in scenic Mountain Village. New golf carts, equipped with state-of-the-art Global Positioning System (GPS), assist golfers as they navigate their way around the course, which accentuates the mountain terrain as meandering fairways wind through aspen groves, towering pines, mountain ponds and streams.
The Telluride Golf Course, constructed in 1992, and serves as a private club for members as well as a public course for locals and guests. Private instruction and clinics are available daily from PGA professionals. A full practice range with chipping and putting greens, is available.

Sean Tannehill ~GM/Director of Golf
Sean returns to the club this year as the new General Manager and Director of Golf Operations. A Golf Professional since 1991 and having spent the last 3 years working under one of Golf Digest top 50 instructors in the country. He brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the teaching staff. He is on the Nike Advisory Staff where he has been certified as one of the top custom club fitters in the west.
Dan Smith ~PGA, Master Teaching Professional
In his 12th season with the club, Dan brings a lifetime of knowledge and expertise to every lesson. Recently voted one of the Top 25 Instructors in California by Golf Digest. Throughout his career as a teaching professional Dan has taught numerous PGA Tour players and amateurs alike.
Pro Shop
Located on the B Level of the Peaks Hotel, the Telluride Golf Club pro shop offers state of the art equipment and the latest golf apparel. Clubs and shoes are also available to rent. The full service pro shop is open daily between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
