Kingmik Dog Sled Tours

Experience a traditional Canadian mode of travel!  Come mushing with a team of hard working and happy huskies. Your musher sled guide shouts ''Go,'' and your dogs are off scampering over the pure white snow. With the fresh air on your face and the Canadian Rocky Mountains behind you, it’s a journey like no other. Just a short 15 minute walk from the front door of the hotel, Kingmik Dog Sled Tours provides you with this opportunity.  It is a beautiful way to immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of Lake Louise, and will be a trip not soon forgotten.  Enjoy a 16 km round trip to Kicking Horse Pass at the Continental Divide, or add a short ½ hour tour to the end of your ski day.  With no age restrictions, this is a great family activity.  

Tours run seasonally from late November through mid April.  Please visit or phone the concierge to book your tour.  Book early to avoid disappointment. Please note a 48 hour cancellation policy is in effect.  Blankets are provided, but transportation is not provided to the starting point of this adventure.

Sled Capacity: Sleds can accommodate two adults providing the total weight does not exceed 400 pounds. A small child can join at an additional charge. For those of us who can be described as robust, we recommend separate sleds for a more enjoyable sledding experience. The sleds are equipped with comfortable foam cushions and cozy sleeping bags, however please dress warmly.
