Icefield Helicopter Tours
Beautiful scenery, knowledgeable guides and excitement all rolled into one. Choose between four different tours ranging from 20 to 55 minutes. While soaring effortlessly over the landscape you will witness awe inspiring glaciers, ice fields, aqua green lakes, waterfalls and spectacular scenery. Any age is welcome. Other unique experiences like heli-yoga, heli-hiking, heli-weddings and heli-fishing are also available.
A minimum of 2 guests is required for tour operation, reservations are required and a 24 hour cancellation policy is in effect.
The helicopter base is a 1.5-hour scenic drive from Lake Louise or transportation to the helicopter base can be arranged from Lake Louise for $125.00 per person each way or you can rent a car from Hertz in the hotel fstarting at $60.00 a day (indicate you are doing this tour for this rate).

An experience like no other! Soar at 12,500 ft (4,000m) over this massive field of ancient ice and pass other spectacular glaciers, lakes and waterfalls throughout the journey.

Heli-Snowshoeing Stop
Looking for adventure? On tours of 20 minutes or longer add a one hour wilderness stop and snowshoe to a frozen waterfall.

Introductory Tour - 6 Minutes in length - $65 per person
The Introductory Tour crosses the Bow River and heads over to Mt. Yamnuska and back, flying at 6,500 ft. This tour is a perfect introduction to heli-tours and is very popular for families with small children!
Summit Tour - 12 Minutes in length - $129 Per Person
Join Kananaskis Heli Tours for their ‘introductory guide’ to the spectacular Rocky Mountains. Flying 7,000 ft (2,300 m) above sea level, this tour will give you a taste of beautiful Kananaskis Country and the glorious Rocky Mountains.
Signature Rockies Tour - 30 Minutes in length - $279 Per Person
The most popular tour! Cruise at 100 mph as you climb above the Bow Valley and cross the imposing massif of Mt. Lougheed before circling the summit of Mt. Sparrowhawk, a 10,000 ft (3,200 m) Rockies peak. Return over Mt. Allen, site of the 1988 Winter Olympic Games Downhill Skiing - a thrilling finale to a remarkable tour!
Mount Assiniboine Tour - 42 Minutes in length - $399 Per Person
Known as the "Matterhorn of the Rockies", majestic Mount Assiniboine stands at 11,870 ft (3,618 m) on the Continental Divide between Alberta and British Columbia. Rich in Stoney First Nation history as well as awe inspiring beauty this majestic mountain is not to be missed! Truly a photographers dream!
Ultimate Assiniboine Tour - 55 Minutes in length - $549 Per Person
A spectacular flight that includes the best of everything the Rockies have to offer. Start down the Kananaskis Valley to fly over Nakiska the home of the 1988 Olympic downhill skiing events, before passing through wonderful mountain passes over sparkling mountain lakes on route to Mount Assiniboine. Fly around the Matterhorn of the Rockies before continuing down the continental divide, over glaciers, lakes, rivers and more breathtaking mountain peaks on your way back to the heliport.
