Gustave Doré (1832-1883): Master of Imagination

Gustave Doré was an extremely talented artist with a vivid imagination whose works have become an inspiration to many people. The National Gallery of Canada will be featuring an exhibit on Doré’s art from June to September. The Musée d’Orsay in Paris has lent over 100 of Doré’s works (including paintings and sculptures) to the National Gallery of Canada for the exhibit.
