The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald uses the services of Kidscenes, a well-renowned babysitting company in Edmonton. Kidscenes will provide your family with childcare support during the day, for those special evenings away, weekends, and holidays. Caregivers are insured and bonded. Bell Staff are stationed at the Main Entrance of the hotel, 24-hours a day. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 12:00 Noon.
The Concierge Desk is located in the Main Lobby. They will assist you with directions and locations, theatre and sporting event tickets, and dinner reservations.
A pair of elevators are located in the Main Lobby.
Guests can verify their account and check-out through their television set in the convenience of their guestroom. A receipt will be available at the Front Desk or can be mailed to the address provided at time of reservation.
The gift shop is located in the Macdonald Health Club on the lower level of the hotel.
The Housekeeping staff will provide extra amenities such as cribs and roll-away beds at no extra cost.
Laundry and dry-cleaning services are available from Monday to Saturday. In order to ensure a 6:00 p.m. same-day delivery, the hotel asks that the laundry bag is received prior to 8:30 a.m.
We are pleased to offer valet parking. Guests can pull up to the the Main Entrance where the Bellstaff will also assist with luggage.

Small pets are permitted in the hotel at a charge of $25 CAD + GST per day (a portion of which is donated to the SPCA). This very important family member must be supervised at all times. If left alone in the room, pets must be placed in a kennel. Guide dogs are always welcome at no charge. Please Note: With the exception of guide dogs, pets are not permitted in the Harvest Room, Confederation Lounge, or Health Club.
The hotel meets Access Level 3 requirements. Two rooms are equipped with safety grips, grab-bars in the bathtub, raised toilet seats, lowered peephole, and wide doorways. A wheelchair is available on request for use while in the hotel.
