The nearest train station is in Ottawa, about 48 miles (80 km) west of the hotel. Guests can then either rent a car, take a bus or taxi to Montebello. Ferry Information There is ferry service to the hotel, the closest is about 10 minutes from Fairmont Le Château Montebello and runs between Lefaivre (Ontario) and Fassett (Quebec). It is seasonal and operates until 10:00 p.m. The other is 25 minutes away and operates 24 hours a day year round between Cumberland (Ontario) and Masson (Quebec). The rates are approximately $8.00.
