Mount Kenya Safari Club was one of the most incredible hotels we have visited to date, and no doubt we will be back. The hotel is set in a stunning location, with gorgeous grounds, all the activities you could ever dream of (including an animal orphanage on site!), and the hotel rooms are exquisite. The food, drinks and hospitality was extraordinary, and we were left wanting for nothing. Thank you so much to all the incredible staff for being so friendly and kind, throughout our stay.
Wonderful and enjoyable stay. Lovely customer care. I enjoyed my time and would recommend to someone or visit again and again.
It has been 18 years since we last visited The Mount Kenya Safari Club Hotel, there have been some changes but on the whole it is still a wonderful place to stay. The mountain summit actually cleared to make an appearance also which was fantastic to see. The staff are so very attentive and professional, the rooms exceptionally well appointed and the grounds immaculate as always. Even the security team at the entrance gates were exceptionally friendly and engaging, ambassadors for the hotel indeed. The last time my children were here they were toddlers and it was great to take them back to see the place now that they are old enough to appreciate it.

We had an absolutely wonderful relaxing stay at your hotel. The extensive grounds are full of birds, views and are immaculately kept. Our room was spacious and equipped with a large terrace. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Great food. We had our dog with us who also enjoyed long walks around the beautiful grounds. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
All was good accommodation, food. Except the last day when we were checking out. The experience was poor. Staff what agreed on phone while booking and on email did not honour. (Ms Stellah at reservation).

Room was perfect, service fantastic, good food and plenty to do.
We checked in on a Friday into the William Holden Cottage and checked out at the end of our 4 night stay. The cottage was fine, except that ALL the sinks and taps had hot water (both the hot and cold water faucets). We have a 2.5 year old and that water experience actually ruined our stay. The staff first of all only looked into it a full 36 hours after I reported the issue. Thereafter, there were numerous attempts to fix it, with different explanations as to what the problem is from the engineers, plumbers, etc. There were assurances that the issue had been fixed, but each time was a fail. It was NEVER fixed and even at check out on Tuesday morning, we still had to contend with only having hot water in the cottage. With a toddler, baths, cleaning her personal dishes, brushing teeth etc was difficult and we often had to use mineral water as our cold water solution. We are frequent visitors to Fairmont Mt. Kenya Safari Club but this time, we were disappointed. We spent a lot of money for the experience but did not get our money's worth.
