Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, ideally situated less than three hours by road from Nairobi, offers ideal Nanyuki meeting facilities for a successful and productive conference, team building or a private function in a unique setting.
Business in a unique setting
Nestled in the lush foothills of Mount Kenya, this beautiful place is home to Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club, a historic hotel with a warm Kenyan welcome, luxury amenities and a wealth of indoors and outdoors activities. With its elegant design, each of the hotel’s 120 guest rooms, suites and cottages have thoughtful touches which include magnificent views of the mountain, open fires and en suite bathrooms with separate rain showers. The Business Center provides internet access, email while general secretarial services are available on request at the Front Office.
Spacious, flexible and stylish meeting facilities
The Kirinyaga Room, which is 306 sqm, no obstruction and natural day light, can be subdivide in two conference rooms – Kirinyaga A (154sqm) and Kirinyaga B (88sqm) – as well as a break out area. The room has internet connectivity, hi tec Audio Visual Equipment, adjustable light settings and air-conditioning. Coffee breaks and/or lunch can also be organized in the courtyard on the Equator line. For corporate events or private functions, pre-dinner drinks can be served on the courtyard while the Kirinyaga Room will accommodate up to 200 guests for a sit down dinner and up to 260 for a cocktail reception.
Colobus Room
The Colobus Room is located in the heart of the main building of the Club. This spacious, natural-light filled room opens onto the Courtyard gardens through the open air pre-function area. This 91sqm conference room will accommodate comfortably your event from 14 to 42 delegates depending on the conference set up and up to 90 for your private reception
Tembo Room
With its 35sqm, Tembo boardroom is ideal for small corporate meetings. The conference offers natural day light and views over the Courtyard and the Equator Line
Chui Room
Directly connected to Tembo Room, Chui – 66sqm – is ideal for workshop or seminar and can also be used as a syndicate or break out room. Chui has natural day light and direct access from the main building
William Holden Room
Set around a wood-burning fireplace, this cozy private dining location is accented with collection of photographs that feature actors and movie casts from yesteryear. The room has a working fire place, private terrace and spectacular views of Mount Kenya.
The following equipment is available on site: LCD projector, DVD player, flat screen television, overhead projector, wireless microphone, lapel microphone, sound system as well as flip chart and white board. Other equipment such as translation equipment or video conferencing equipment can be sourced through our supplier in Nairobi.
