Babysitting service is available. Any more than three children would require a second babysitter. If the service is needed after midnight, guests are responsible for the babysitter's transportation. Arrangements can be made through Royal Service, with 24-hour notice. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Bell Staff are located in the Main Lobby of the hotel, 24-hours a day. Our Bell Staff provide exceptional service and will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage. We also have a Door Person on duty.
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Three elevators are located in the Main Lobby.
The hotel has an Executive Sedan ready and waiting for our guests to experience. Transportation can be arranged through the Hotel or by phoning (709) 722-7455 or (709) 722-6993 and asking for The Fairmont Newfoundland's Executive Limousine Service.
Guests expect to have the advantage of the Internet everywhere they go and The Fairmont Newfoundland can provide them with this service by having high-speed Internet access in select guestrooms. For a nominal fee per day we offer guests access to this amenity, eliminating the need for business travelers to spend valuable time dialing into their work place. As well, wireless connectivity is now available in public spaces of the hotel, allowing guests, conference delegates and visitors convenient access to the Internet without worrying about connections. Wireless technology is ideal for public spaces like lobbies because it enables our visitors to move freely around the space without having to drag a cable. This service is also offered for a nominal fee per day for a 24-hour time period.
The Housekeeping staff will provide extra amenities such as humidifiers, cribs and cots at no extra cost.
Same-day dry-cleaning and laundry services are available from Monday to Saturday, with the exception of public holidays.
Outdoor self-parking is available
Valet Parking is $15.00 per night or $2.00 per hour up to a maximum charge of $15.00. Taxes extra. Small pets are permitted in the hotel at a price of $25.00/night. The animal must be kept in a kennel at all times. Seeing-eye dogs are always welcome and exempt of charges and restrictions.
For the convenience of our guests who are traveling with their pet, the hotel offers the following St. John's-area boarding alternative. It is required to bring the pet's vaccination certification. For more information please call Topsail Star Kennels & Training Academy: (709) 747-5555.
In order to accommodate your every need while staying with us, we have a unique guest service hotline called 'Royal Service'. It's our 'one-stop' information center, and provides our guests with immediate attention to all of their requirements.
Safe deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk at no extra charge.
A number of shops and services are available in the hotel. There are also two shopping malls, the Avalon Mall and the Village Mall, which are both a ten minute drive from The Fairmont Newfoundland.

The hotel has seven wheelchair accessible rooms, one on each floor, near the elevators. The rooms have one Queen size bed and lowered light switches. The bathrooms have wider doors, safety rails and lower tubs. A wheelchair is also available at no extra cost.
