"Afghanistan: Hidden Treasures From the National Museum, Kabul" highlights a collection of priceless historical objects from the Kabul museum that were secreted away during the civil war and upheaval and rediscovered in 2003. Considered one of the most remarkable archaeological finds in all of Central Asia, this collection includes Bronze Age gold pieces, as well as some 20,000 gold, silver, and ivory objects recovered from burial plots.
