A lively collection of renovated warehouses under the Granville Street Bridge, which makes a perfect home to craft shops, theatres, artists’ studios, and the famous public market known best for its bounty of produce and fresh seafood. Hop in a taxi to the island (approximately $10 CDN) or to the Aquatic Centre and then board a False Creek Foot Ferry, or take the #50 Bus south on Granville St. to arrive at the island. Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park
Get up close and personal with Vancouver’s rainforest. Breath in the cedar-scented air as you make your way across the 450-foot suspension bridge, traversing the Capilano River as it rushes 230 feet below. Once across, the 27-acre park is yours to explore. Grouse Mountain, The Peak of Vancouver
Take North America’s largest aerial tram to the top of Grouse Mountain, and enjoy the panoramic views of the city, ocean and mountains from 3,700 feet. Once you’ve arrived at the peak of Vancouver, Grouse Mountain will offer you the very best of the season.

The Theatre in the Sky provides you the opportunity to take in the stunning scenery of Southwestern BC from an eagle’s point of view.
Take the Seabus to the Lonsdale Quay and the #236 Grouse Mountain Bus departing from Lonsdale Quay every 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the base of Grouse Mountain, enjoy the scenic gondola sky ride up to the top of the mountain.
Seabus to Lonsdale Quay
Located two blocks from Fairmont Pacific Rim you will find the Seabus Terminal, one of the public transit options in Vancouver. You can take a 15-minute “harbour cruise” over to North Vancouver and the Lonsdale Quay Market, which is a smaller version of the Granville Island market.
Double Decker Tours
Ride aboard a classic Double-Decker or Trolley Bus as it visits many of Vancouver’s top attractions. Leaving from Canada Place directly across the street from our hotel every 30 minutes at 10 minutes to the hour and 20 minutes past the hour, they follow a set route that will take you to all of the areas mentioned above and more. You have the option of getting on and off of the bus and spending time at each location as a bus comes by every 30 minutes. The entire circuit takes two hours and returns back to Canada Place.
