The Palm Collection
Dubai, January 03, 2013
Cocktail receptions. General assemblies. Team building exercises. Product launches. Press conferences. These words are part of the lexicon for meeting planners worldwide. In a city that is recognised as the fastest growing and most successful meetings destination in the Middle East, this language is lived and breathed every day at Fairmont The Palm. Located on the heart of the Palm Jumeirah and the first property on the ‘Golden Mile’, allowing for quick accessibility, the hotel is also a short distance away from major business hubs, including Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City as well as major industries located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
A refreshing approach to venue space design and layout, Fairmont The Palm presents eight versatile event areas ideally suited to a variety of functions ranging from the bespoke social function, the corporate team building exercise to the idyllically themed wedding. Ample outdoor pre function areas, including a resplendent courtyard in the heart of the collection, provide natural light in almost all meeting rooms as well as numerous opportunities for evening receptions and elegant dinner arrangements.
The culinary team, led by award winning executive chef John K. Cordeaux, promises guests an unparalleled experience, aspiring to become the meeting planner’s ‘right hand’ in achieving their goals. By working with organisers to customize and craft themed menus, coffee breaks, amenities, seating arrangements and audiovisual support, the catering team also ensures that all details are managed seamlessly without ‘skipping a beat’ in the orchestration of a memorable event.
