Housekeeping was not good. Didn’t do room first 3 days. Also didn’t receive my amenity on check in.
The only complaint I have is we arrived at 320 on Saturday April 13 and our room was not ready. We got our room at 405 and the wedding was at 430. I was glad that I got ready with the exception of changing into wedding attire at home. When a block of rooms is reserved for a wedding. Housekeeping should make them a priority so guests are able to check in on time.
no mini-refrigerator; no power charger/smart phone charge outlet
The worst hotel experience I've ever had!
We stayed at the Fairmont for our daughter’s wedding April 13th. Everyone and everything, from the moment we arrived until we checked out Sunday was wonderful!! We were upgraded to the Ryan Suite which was so spacious and comfortable. The breakfast in the bridal suite was delicious as was the dinner and hors D’ oeuvres served at the wedding & late night bites after. The staff at the hotel were attentive and welcoming. We had a beautiful wedding in the ballroom and after party at FL 2. Thank you Fairmont for making the weekend so special. Every staff member and employee went above and beyond to make the weekend so memorable.
I booked a room with a view of PNC park, but was given a city view room. I was sent a text telling me that I could have free wifi if I was a member and asked if I was satisfied with my room. It was then that I stated I did not get the room requested in December. I was told it was an upgrade since the hotel was full. Speaking with Connor, he said it was a higher floor. There was an empty space where a refrigerator would be, dust around the base of the bed and the curtains had white stains on them. The next morning, I noticed standing water in the tub! Connor said he would comp brunch for us. When we checked out with gift cards, the front desk workers had no idea how to put them in the computer. I had to call several times this week since our credit card was charged the amounts of the gift cards as well as the entire charge and the brunch! So frustrating for a lovely hotel. The food was delicious. In the end, everything should be cleared up within a few days, but I had to contact them to correct my bill.
The Fairmont Pittsburgh is subpar in my view. I stay there regularly for lack of better options. I’ve found broke glass on my floor, regularly stained carpets, dirty trash bins, and the restaurant short staffed often. The bar is good although they run out of blue cheese olives. Worst of all, they make a new profile for me often and so now I have multiple profiles with Accor point spread out across accounts and they say they cannot fix it and I have to work through a corporate number. The front desk staff is well meaning and respectful.
Room was not ready at 3pm check in and front desk was not able to tell us when a room would be ready. Rooms are not that nice and not worth it for the money.
My family and I arrived at 5:30 pm and our rooms were still not ready. Even though check in is at 4pm We had dinner planned at 7:30pm. We did not get into our rooms until a little after 6pm
