Charlevoix - World Biosphere Reserve
The Charlevoix region was granted status as World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in November 1988. It is the first populated biosphere reserve in the world. It is also home to many interesting attractions, such as the historical gardens, marine museum, eco-center, pottery center, papermaking center, historic mills, art galleries, working studios and many others. Route des Saveurs (Flavor Trail)
Charlevoix offers an array of excellent regional products : lamb, migneron cheese and mini-vegetables just to name a few. The Route des saveurs (flavour trail), which introduces visitors to the unique flavours of Charlevoix, was developed by various farm producers and restaurants in the region. The circuit includes restaurants that use regional products in their cuisine and the farms that supply those products. Producers on the route welcome visitors interested in discovering the secrets of farming and stock-raising. The Route des saveurs reveals an authentic glimpse of the Charlevoix region and its people.

Park of Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Riviere-Malbaie
This unique site can be accessed on a paved road. It features one of the most impressive valleys in Quebec, where the Riviere Malbaie winds peacefully between the highest rock faces east of the Canadian Rockies. Activities include bicycling, canoeing, hiking, and sea kayaking. Glass -topped boat cruises are also available. All park visitors must pay an entrance fee.
