Getting From the Airport to the Resort There is no complimentary airport shuttle. The hotel can arrange either luxury car transfers or limousine transfers - further details follow. Guests may choose from the following transportation options to travel from the airport to the resort:
- Bus:
- There is a regular bus service (departs every 10 minutes) from the airport to the city.
- Travel time via bus is approximately 45 minutes.
- Rates: $1.50 Barbados Dollars
- Taxi:
- There is 24-hour taxi service readily available at the airport.
- Travel time via taxi is approximately 45 minutes.
- Rates: Approximately BDS$90 (US$45).
- Luxury Car:
- Rates: approximately US$105, one-way between hotel and airport or US$150 round trip.
- Must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance.

Rental Cars
- Barbados has a good network of roads that cover the entire island. Traffic drives on the left.
- The speed limit is 60 km/hr (37 mph).
- Guests should make arrangements for a rental car through the Concierge in advance.
- Anything from a mini-moke to a Mercedes may be hired.
- Cars may be hired by the day or week.
- If you plan to drive a car yourself, a Barbados driving permit is required.
- There is a registration fee of $100.00 (Barbados Dollars).
- A valid national license or an International Driving Permit is also required.
- Permits can be obtained from:
- Car hire companies
- The Ministry of Transport (Mon to Fri: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
- The airport (8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., daily)
- Police stations in Hastings, Worthing and Holetown
