The Fairmont Royal York uses the professional child care services of Improv Care. All Improv Care child care professionals are highly trained and thoroughly screened, talented ECEs, CYWs or teachers. The Fairmont Royal York offers the services of Wee Travel for additional children's needs. Wee Travel provides a full range of baby accessories, including car seats, strollers and high chairs. For more information visit the Wee Travel website.
Bellmen are located in the Main Entrance of the hotel, 24-hours a day. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage. For guests traveling by train, VIA Rail's ''RED CAP'' porter will bring your luggage across the street to the Registration Desk.
Check-in is anytime after 3:00 p.m., local time, on the day of arrival, and check-out is anytime before 12:00 p.m.
The Concierge Desk is located in the Main Lobby. They will happily assist you with obtaining tickets for sporting events and theaters, making dinner reservations and arranging city tours.
The hotel has 13 elevators that run from the Avenues level (lower level) to the 18th floor. An express elevator to the Fairmont Gold floor (12th) and the 19th Floor Executive Meeting Rooms is located across from the Front Desk.

The Housekeeping staff will provide extra amenities such as humidifiers, cribs and cots at no extra cost. If you require a crib or cot, we recommend reserving a Deluxe room as these have sufficient space for the addition of cribs and cots.
In order to guarantee same-day laundry service, the laundry bag must be ready by 9:00 a.m. The delivery will be done after 6:00 p.m. This service is available from Monday to Saturday. Pressing service is also available from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except on Sundays.
The Fairmont Royal York Security Team members are trained in First Aid and CPR and respond to emergency calls in the hotel 24 hours a day. The hotel also utilizes the services of an on-call doctor at the guest's request. Additional medical equipment including wheelchairs is available on request (subject to availability).
Valet Parking
Valet Parking is available at the east doors of the hotel, off Front Street. In-and-out privileges are included. Valet parking will be charged to your room account unless otherwise specified.
- Daily rate for Registered Guests: $37 per day
- EPIC or Benihana Dinner Guests: valet parking is complimentary upon presentation of a voucher which you can obtain from the restaurant.
- 20 minutes or less: $7
- 40 minutes or less: $12
- One hour or less: $17
- One hour, 20 minutes or less: $22
- One hour, 40 minutes or less: $27
- Daytime maximum (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.) or over one hour, 40 minutes: $31
- Evening function rate (5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.): $29
Small pets are permitted in the hotel at a price of $25 CAD per night. Pets must always be accompanied by their owners or be kept in a kennel. Pets must not be left unattended in the room. Seeing-eye dogs are always welcome and exempt of charges and restrictions.
Safe deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk, at no extra charge.
The Fairmont Royal York is fully wheelchair accessible in all public areas. The entrance elevator is located at the east entrance to the hotel.
