The Concierge Desk does not make arrangements for babysitters, they can provide a list of agencies in the area for guests to make direct arrangements.

Bell Service

Bell staff are located in the Main Lobby of the hotel. They will be happy to assist you with porterage and luggage storage.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in time for the Hotel is 3:00 p.m. Early check-in is on a request basis only, and cannot be guaranteed. Check-out is by 12:00 p.m. Late check-outs are also on a request basis only and need to be arranged through the Front Desk.

Concierge Service

The Concierge Desk is located off the Main Lobby adjacent to the Front Desk.

Our Concierge team can help you with anything from dinner, theater and transportation arrangements or give you directions to major attractions. Please email our team at for assistance.


For our 'little guest', our Housekeeping team provide cribs at no charge. In addition, a complimentary amenity of baby powder, baby lotion, baby shampoo and a cuddly 'Fairmont Bear' are provided with each crib.


The Fairmont San Jose has five elevators located across from the Front Desk that serve the Main Building. There are three elevators for the Tower. We also have two escalators connecting the the Main Lobby to the Ballroom Level, providing easy access to the convention and meeting rooms.

Our Housekeeping team is pleased to provide extra amenities such as humidifiers, cribs and rollaway beds to ensure the best possible comfort to all our guests. Applicable charges apply.

Fairmont San Jose has an in-house dry cleaning service. Same-day laundry and pressing services are available.

Parking Facilities

Fairmont San Jose garage is located below the hotel. We offer valet parking only; there is no self parking available. ChargePoint Charging Stations are available complimentary for guests with hybrid vehicles on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Valet parking for overnight guests is $26 per night including in-and-out privileges.
  • Valet parking for visitors is on a space available basis:
    • First 20 minutes: $5   
    • Every additional 20 minutes: $1.50    
    • Maximum rate for the day: $26
For all car retrievals please proceed to the 'Parking Level' located in the Main Building - one level below the Lobby.

Pet Policy

Dogs of all sizes are permitted in the Hotel at an additional cost of $75 USD per stay. Your dog must be on a leash at all times and must not be left unattended in the room. Any damage incurred to the room by the pet is the responsibility of the guest. Service dogs are always welcome and exempt of charges.

Safety Deposit Boxes

Safety deposit boxes are available at the Concierge Desk at no extra charge.

Wheelchair Accessibility

Fairmont San Jose has 32 accessible rooms and suites. All have either queen or king size beds and a wide entrance door. The bathroom has an adjusted insulated sink and grab bars. Some bathrooms have roll-in showers. Please call the hotel directly so we may assign the most suitable room in advance of your arrival.
