I LOVE Monica in In-House Reservations. Went out of her way to help make me feel like a VIP. Great attention to detail. Dino and Danny at desk were so helpful with the hotel's car.

This was our second year staying at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica for Spring Break. The hotel staff is excellent, property is lovely, and the location is great. The staff at the FIg restaurant deserve a special mention callout for being wonderful.
We were charged an additional $88 without an explanation and no one returns our call

There were a few families with children on my floor. I flew in from New Jersey to see my daughter. Got in late Friday night. I got to bed around 1:00 am. Around 6:00 am the next morning (Saturday) kids were racing down hallway screaming. By 7:00 am the moms were hanging out in the hallway talking while the kids played. I was so tired I could not get up to say anything. I never went back to sleep.
we arrived at 2pm , as we were told by the booking lady to arrive . Our room was not ready . We said ok no problem, we will walk by the pier and come back . We were told we would receive a text when our room was ready. No text was received. Came back and the front desk was apologetic, a manager had to inspect our room and still hadnt . We were extremely tired with our daughters, one being special needs in a wheelchair. Another issue is that it was raining and our roof was leaking, we told front desk . However we then saw buckets throughout the hotel for the rain leaks even in the breakfast area. One last issue , we got stuck on the wheelchair lift. It wouldn’t go down or come up .. so we had to go outside in the rain on the ramp to get up the steps. Everyone was friendly and nice. We absolutely loved the location
Thank you for the opportunity to share my feedback regarding my most recent stay. My husband and I, along with our two young children, have stayed at Fairmont hotels in the past and we've always had such amazing service and experience! It's unfortunate that we didn't feel the same way this time around. Here are the reasons why: -according to the ALL app (with my accumulated points), I should have been offered a drink at check in. I was not. -when I booked my stay, I was asked if I would want robes for my children. I confirmed, gave their ages, but was not provided with any robes. -the room's shower faucet was not working properly. It was very loose. -we had breakfast in the lounge, twice. On the first morning, the server that we had made my husband and I feel as if we were completely inconveniencing him with our presence. For example, when we asked for salt & pepper, and cutlery (very basic request), his body language and tone was very unpleasant. I asked for a side of cream cheese (for my salmon eggs benny), and he was so confused with that request that he brought it out with my children's pancakes. We ended that breakfast thinking that maybe he was just having a bad day. We're all entitled to having bad days. However, on the second morning, we had the same server and his service was just as horrible. He didn't make eye contact with us once, and it was as if we were inconvenient, again. This second morning was packed in the lobby because it was the Easter Egg Hunt however, the lounge was completely empty (except for one other couple right next to us). So I don't think he was overwhelmed with the amount of tables he was serving. There are a few more concerns/issues, but I am sure the point is understood. I would like mention that the bell service and the gentlemen standing outside guiding the vehicles were absolutely AMAZING! We rented a vehicle for a day and the amount of patience and kindness the guys gave us was great. Overall, I didn't feel that I was staying at a Fairmont in comparison to our other stays at other locations. Thank you once again for this opportunity to share my feedback.
Chose Fairmont Miramar for a family reunion, staying in bungalows. It was great! Concierge Jose couldn't have been more helpful, even though we had to make adjustments in plans as our stay progressed. Rooms excellent. Quick responses to all our requested needs. Definitely would stay there again.
