The Savoy has the rare distinction of overlooking the River Thames. Our private pier, Savoy Pier, is a short stroll from the River Entrance of The Savoy, through the original decorative gates and Embankment Gardens.
Savoy Pier is owned and managed by Woods' Silver Fleet, Thames Watermen since 1866, making this a perfect partnership with the hotel, their long established neighbours. Here the Woods family moor their luxury river yachts and are amongst the capital's most prestigious venues. Renowned for hosting private parties and spectacular events on The Thames for world leaders, notable celebrities and leading international corporations, as well as Royalty.

Golf
Guests of The Savoy in London can golf at the Wentworth Club, which offers three exceptional 18-hole championship courses and one 9-hole course. The West Course is host to the annual PGA and World Match Play Championships staged in May and October respectively. Horse Riding
One doesn't have to leave London in order to enjoy a horse-riding outing. Enjoy traveling along the bridle paths of Hyde Park and groomed trails along Rotten Row. Tennis
Guests of The Savoy can access the tennis facilities at the Wentworth Club, which is located approximately 45-minutes west of Central London in Virginia Water near Ascot.
